Hey there, radu...quite the day. Went pretty smoothly for me until I started on a project with Ruthe about 4:15. It took a while, but had a very satisfying outcome. Now I can show the manager that when he had the contract updated and sent the money part to us, he didn’t include the numbers he was trying to use yesterday. I have to reboot to try to get my work email to work, but I’m not rebooting until I finish with all the open stuff, and the thread.
Did your day go well? Nice weather? We are starting the “wishing for rain” stuff again.

Now y’all should know better than to start on a project that late in the afternoon. LOL Glad y’all were able to get everything squared away. Tsk tsk on the manager not doing his part correctly and making your jobs more difficult. That seems to be how it works though. Too many times.
My day went well enough. Took my new non-functional glasses back to the optometrist - this is the third screw-up - and told him to make my old prescription again, as I’d original requested. I’m tired of fooling around with this new prescription that is NOT correct. I can see fine with these old ones other than the lenses are scratched badly.
Then got a little grocery shopping taken care of.
I noticed there hasn’t been rain in your area lately, though it looked like there were a couple of heavy showers in the distance north of town today. Y’all need some of that action too.
Gloomy here today like it was there but no rain. Tomorrow and Friday we’ll have several waves of rain and storms move through. Then we’ll be hot and dry next week.

Man, so sorry they can’t get your new glasses right. I know they are complicated, but, good grief, they are supposed to be professionals!!

It sure will. Then it’ll grow tall and make a beautiful green wall for you to enjoy. For a while.
How are the new neighbors?

Yes, my prescription is a very difficult one but they’ve never had this much trouble getting them right. My eye exam was in JANUARY.
The optician isn’t happy at all and said she was going to call the lab manager AGAIN tomorrow. She called last month when the glasses they’d sent were wrong. There was no improvement at all with this last pair.

It’s already growing pretty fast. It won’t be long before it starts looking pretty out there. The dead weeds are still visible now.
No sign of the new neighbors since a guy was there a couple of weeks ago to mow the yard.

My lawn guys came today and cleaned up the yard and did what they do. Green is on its way!
I need to get out Saturday and cut back a few things before they can start to regrow.

A very pleasant good Thursday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.
We had some rain and thunder and wind and that was about it. Still some storms near us but right now they're moving Northeast.
Yesterday at Wichita Ridge.
How's everyone doing this morning?
