Hey there, Sky! Good to see you. Are ya busy in the air?
Howdy, Allegra!
Well, we both suck at it. LOL! I guess our taste runs in different directions than theirs did. Thanks for joining us tonight!
Howdy, Allegra.
I got the same score so we both sucked at it. LOL
Luvie just barely beat us but beat us, she did.
It was an hour late but she was ok. She could really use a shot but it’s too soon for it.
The tree pollen around here is exceptionally bad this year. It’s kicking everyone hard, even some critters. At least we won’t have all-summer-long pollen from cotton this year. That stuff hit Bella pretty hard too.
I guess all the rain you’ve had has been good for pollen but bad for lungs. I am thrilled for you that you don’t have all the cotton misery this year. I hope last year was THE last year he plants that mess. Maybe he didn’t do well. We can only hope. Especially you and Bella!
You got 11 out of 15
Wouldn’t have been so bad if it wasn’t my 12th try!
Sorry I’m late. I’d better catch up on what’s up.
Yes, we’ve had enough rain to make EVERYTHING happy here. LOL But even though it makes us a little miserable at times, it’s wonderful to see everything lush and green again.
It’ll be interesting to see how many other farmers don’t plant cotton this year. Food is more important for us AND livestock.
Hey, that’s a great score! Thanks for popping in!
No one wants it?
Ok, I’ll jump for it. :-)
The opportunity was just sitting there so ........... :-)
Hey, I’d have done the same thing on another stream if I had noticed it. LOL!
Yes, you would! In a heartbeat! LOL!!
Well, “crawled in”, is more like it.
The weather here today was the kind that depresses even Trolls, Goblins, and Orcs. Dark, wet and chilly.
Friend of my wife stopped by today to tell us she had been exposed to a person that came down with Covid and she wanted us to be aware of that (my wife, she, and some other friends had lunch together last week). “Why didn’t you call”, I asked her, “rather than come by?” “Well, I was in the neighborhood”, she cheerfully replied, completely oblivious to why I had asked her that, standing there as if she expected to be invited into the house for coffee.
“Well, Thank You”, I told her, “under the circumstances you’ll have to be leaving now. You understand, of course.”
I startled her, “Yes! Yes! Of course, I’m sorry. Of course.” as I quietly closed the door.
My wife, a far better woman by every measure than I deserve, indicated to me that she thought I was a bit rude, terse, at the least.
“Dear, you, and I, and your friend Lola, should all give thanks to G-D Almighty that the axe is in the shed and it’s raining outside. If it wasn’t raining...”
Now, you folks are sharp! Is it just me, or are there a lot more of them out there that we were just too busy to notice before? Or are there just a lot more of them? I just can’t figure out how they think...or don’t, as it happens to be.
I have never encountered a single dimwit here, not ever, for which I am very happy and grateful. What a relief. HERE, is an oasis of sane human beings, thoughtful, of good cheer, and optimistic outlook.
G-D BLESS YOU ALL!
ROFL!! Poor you! I’d have done the same thing. Does she always act before thinking or has covid messed her mind? I hope you don’t get it. it’s not fun.
Wet and chilly weather would be most welcome here. We haven’t had any measureable rain since last AUGUST and that’s very depressing. Especially when I look at my water bills....and summer isn’t even here yet!
You know it! LOL!
Did you get any rain today? It was a lovely cool day here.
I do! LOL
A storm moved through this evening and the main event passed just south of us. We caught the northern edge of it and got a splash of rain. The wind kicked up pretty strong though for a few minutes. On the weather report, they’d said that storm had 60+ mph winds with it so I’m glad the brunt stayed below us.
It cooled things off quickly as that was the cold front moving through. It was hot today but very windy so it didn’t feel too bad.
Glad you were lucky enough to have a cool day. Enjoy while you can!
Honeysuckle smells nice unless there’s a lot of it. Then it can be overpowering. We had too much around here and Hubby killed most of it.
I’m surprised it grows there. I guess being pretty much a weed it’ll grow even in desert climes. LOL
Hubby had told me he’s seen lightning bugs but tonight’s the first time I’ve seen one. It was sitting on the edge of the rain gauge when I went out to dump it. This is early for them.
