Maybe it will just allow states to pass laws that regulate certain behaviors that aren’t Constitutionally protected, and respect the sanctity of life.

Look at the body of the decision where Alito says, "It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people's elected representatives." He doesn't specify state representatives.

The opinion is all about the states and abortion laws which preceded Roe. Geez...
I'm not seeing where that's what it's all about. All the Appendix list are laws criminalizing abortion.

Whoopie. There is nothing in the Alito decision that says abortion is strictly a state issue or which would prevent Congress from passing a nationwide solution.
Given that he was refusing to perform such marriages I think that’s in the same category.
And the knowledge that the average American is a blithering idiot, who doesn't pay attention to anything.
