Last weekend I had the sniffles, a headache and a bit of a cough. I didn’t go to the doctor, I didn’t rush out to get tested, I didn’t home test either. I took some Nyquil and slept for about 10 hours and woke up feeling fine.
BTW, that’s exactly the way I felt when I had the virus in 2020 and possibly again Christmas of 2021.
I got tested in 2020 because it was still pretty early in the “pandemic” but never tested again. I won’t add to the grift.

The early adopters of vax in the northeast are nearly unprotected by now. Those in NY who were infected and recovered are by now similarly unprotected.

I stopped in our local fruit market near Mountain View, CA yesterday. TEN out of 12 shoppers had masks on!
At the local Ace Hardware store, about 40% of customers have masks on.
I was behind a woman at a store yesterday with two cute little daughters, many 3 and 4 years old. Mom and the two little girls had masks on.
At another store, an Asian mom was taking a picture of her son, maybe 8 years old. He partially dropped his mask for the photo and promptly pulled it back up.
At the local pet store, I got talking to the high school girl at checkout and asked her why she was still wearing a mask. Her answer absolutely astonished and dismayed me — she said “she didn’t want people to see her face.” I asked her to drop her mask and she was really pretty! I told her “You’re gorgeous and you shouldn’t be ashamed to show your face.” I think she appreciated that.
The world has gone absolutely nuts!
I was in an area of NJ that voted for Trump yesterday and 50% were wearing worthless face diapers. In my very blue, very Asian (south and east) community. Masking was nearly 100% until about 3 weeks ago.
They’re definitely searching for a path to cheat in upcoming elections. The mail-in fraud worked so well, they won’t be able to pull that off again without a new strain and “huge cases”.
TBH I’m waiting for a completely new bioengineered virus, worse than COVID. It exposed how weak we are when scared and how many will just hand over their rights to an authoritarian government with no limits - all in the name of “your health”. The collective is all that matters for them and you must comply. Until we define some metrics to measure, along with thresholds that must be crossed, they can still just yell “emergency” and usurp Constitutional rights - and we’ve not done that. IMO they NEVER have that right, they can issue “emergency recommendations” but that is it.

Covid is trivial to the desertification that is occurring as the climate resumes normalization. The last hundred or so years are anomaly.
The drought is coming this summer to restore the natural desert condition in Southern California.
