As consumers dump their Netflix subscriptions, the far-left streamer is reportedly stopping the production of two more animated kids’ series.
Dino Daycare, created by Jeff King, and the South Asian-inspired adventure Boons and Curses, created by Jaydeep Hasrajani, will not move forward at the streaming giant, according to a report by the Hollywood Reporter.
Dino Daycare was to feature a 6-year-old boy who helps out at a nursery for baby dinosaurs in a world where dinosaurs never went extinct. Boons and Curses was to center around a young warrior — who is made of butter due to a curse — and who takes on an evil ruler.
The two kids series are not the first shows to be canceled at Netflix amid a major loss of subscribers. Planned animated series based on Jeff Smith’s popular comic book series Bone and Roald Dahl’s novel The Twits have also been canceled.
Moreover, an upcoming series based on Lauren Faust’s Toil and Trouble will also not move forward.
The shows being axed at Netflix arrive amid consumers canceling their streaming services to save money amid soaring inflation. Netflix has also suffered its first net subscriber loss in more than a decade.
The streamer is experiencing a crisis in employee morale following a recent report that it lost 200,000 subscribers during the first quarter. Netflix expects to lose a staggering 2 million more in the months ahead. On Thursday, Netflix laid off staffers at its in-house fan site Tudum.

I don’t care for beer, but it’s hard to go wrong with lamb and potatoes.
It was delicious. I don’t drink anymore.
They say one or two a day is healthy (more so wine) so I’m good until I get around 187 years old.
Good for him.
My son is 52 and has a PhD in physics. When he was younger and still working on his PhD, he came to me worried that he wouldn't make it with the liberal professors he had. I told him how important that degree was and just 'bite your tongue'....just kiss ass until you're done. He did.
Give those young guys you mentioned all the support you can. They're terribly out numbered.
Thanks, I didn’t know.
The only heads up I got was a couple of weeks ago. So far the content is the same.
You can laugh, but when it appears across multiple blinds and across multiple boards, there may be truth to it.
Celebrity blinds is one way that people have been able to bypass the usual pathways to communicate interesting stuff the authorities may not want you to know.
I like wine.

Many of those consumers are canceling because they realize Netflix is evil.

I-use that channel a lot myself, my Aunt watches Adam-12 reruns.
I rarely find movies by browsing on one of the streaming sites. I will identify films I want to see and then figure out where I can watch them. I almost never go in cold. And because I’ve done some minimal due diligence, I’m pretty pleased with most of the films I watch. Good stuff is out there. Finding it without too much effort is the trick.
I read reviews. I take a glance at the myriad lists that everyone in the business puts out regularly. I take a look at films that are nominated for major awards. I spend way too much time online, mostly on conservative websites, and many of them review films, or post articles arguing about them. That’s a lead generation service.
I pay attention to the film critics; I don’t follow any of them blindly, but if a critic that I trust recommends a film, I will read a few more reviews and watch the trailer.
There are a very few actors and directors that I like enough to at least check out anything with which they’re connected; again, that doesn’t mean I’ll watch a given film, but I will at least read a few reviews and watch the trailer.
The film-oriented websites all publish regular lists of “Most Anticipated Films of XXXX.” Or the Top 10/Top 25/Top 50 type lists. These are worth a glance. It doesn’t take long to do a quick scan. Many critics publish “Most Underrated” lists, and these are often good for picking up excellent films that didn’t get much hype.
I should emphasize that I don’t spend a lot of time with this. It only takes a few minutes to glance down the list for Sundance, TIFF, Telluride, Cannes, Venice, etc. — whatever is coming up — and see what is getting some buzz. I will end up watching very few of these films, but I’m at least aware that they’re out there. A few will catch my eye, and I’ll read a couple of reviews and watch the trailer.
I’d be willing to bet that I actually spend a lot less time doing this than most people spend browsing the menus being served up on Netflix, Amazon, AppleTV+ and the other streaming sites. It’s just a matter of making it a habit. It becomes a reflex, and I start picking up leads as a matter of routine situational awareness.
I always encourage freepers to make recommendations. Most of us stumble across good movies from time to time. And there are lots of movie threads on FR. Most of them devolve into griping sessions. That’s fine in its place, but let’s pass along the good word on stuff we like as well. Tastes vary; different strokes for different folks. But we’re all looking for solid, non-woke content. When you find some, don’t keep it a secret. Please.
I’m not wedded to any streamer. If it’s a movie I want to see, I can wait until its a cheap rental, usually on multiple platforms. If it’s a movie I really, really want to see, I’ll pay the premium price for a recent release. I’m old enough to remember paying for a ticket in the theater. Same thing. I’m willing to pay for a few tickets here and there to break out of streamers’ silos.
#13 actress Kaley Couco (Big Bang Theory) in her new show “The Flight Attendant” sleeps around with many guys be them white or black.
Sheldon says Penny had dated 193 men plus or minus 8 men. Extrapolating he says she has had 30.96 sexual partners. “Let’s round that out to 31 shall we”.
Amy says to Penny: “To your mind Penny, are you a slut?”
Raising prices and cutting off password sharing will do that to you, along with woke trash.
I got rid of DirecTV last year and have been just using the IMDB app for my viewing pleasure. So far there’s much more that I like than I can watch.
