The Justice Department filed a complaint Friday challenging Alabama's Senate Bill (S.B.) 184, which bans transgender treatments for children.
The DOJ asserts that criminalizing the sexual transition of children is a violation of the Fourteenth Amendment on the grounds of equal protection.
Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey signed legislation this month to outlaw puberty blocking medications for minors. The bill makes it a felony, punishable by up to 10 years in prison, to prescribe puberty blockers or hormones to transgender children to help in their gender transition.

Ok, here we go. The liberals once again, taking on a “culture war” issue where they take a position at odds with the majority of the American people. And in this case, at odds with the law passed by the people of Alabama, through their elected representatives, who have decided these procedures should not be allowed.

Jen Psaki recently warned states against passing laws such as this, saying they were unconstitutional. She said such laws go against the judgement of the medical profession, yadda, yadda, yadda.
Jen Psaki was also interviewed recently, and literally cried over the Florida law which bans discussion of all this “LGBT” business in schools in grades K - 3.
Yes it did. Liberals always laugh and ridicule anyone who talked of slippery slope arguments.
I think there is strong evidence that there is a slippey slope.
A decade ago, the big debate was over homosexual marriage, and this business of “transsexuals” was not discussed at all.
But now that the goal posts have been moved, due in part to normalizing homosexual marriage, now we have moved on to hormone shots and puberty blockers on kids, so we can push further aims of the “LGBT” crowd.
Were the activists joyful and euphoric, when the Supreme Court ruled for same sex marriage? Weren’t their lives complete, now that same sex couples could be legally married? No they weren’t. Instead, the activists moved the goal posts and started pushing all this transgender business instead.
It is interesting that the DOJ is using the 14th amendment as the basis of their challenge. I can think of only one reason for them to use this. That is to establish that minors have the power to exercise other rights usually preserved for adults. The big one being the right to vote.

Equal Protection for those who would mutilate children?
So equal protection clauses for children now take precedence over the rights of the parents, according to the DOJ. At what point in life do equal protection rights begin? Birth? Viability? Fetal heartbeat? They are opening the door to bring that question into the debate.

I’m not surprised. Next will have the Dems and DOJ demanding/requiring that all children be given sex change operations within a few years after they are born.
And then, if Kavenaugh and Coney vote against us, if they take our law away, the tactics must change. ANYONE giving puberty blockers to children just DISAPPEARS. How would y'all like that, Demonrat perverts?
We're sick of this perversion. We outlaw it, and they try to take away our laws. If/when they do, we have to move on to other means, because the kids are worth it. They CANNOT consent to the evil being done to them, because they CANNOT see what their life will be like once their bodies are butchered.
