It’s not surprising that D.C. Mayor Muriel E. Bowser (D) is attempting again to increase the D.C. police force at the cost of real public safety. What is disappointing is the lack of scrutiny given to her claims.

I say, just rid of the entire police force. Just let citizens handle things. I can’t guarantee that it would be entirely safe for everyone ... but I think there would be fewer criminals.

A safer DC starts when DC starts taxing people who work within Washington DC whether they commute there or not.
DC also has within its confines, 26 or so separate law enforcement departments with jurisdiction.
It is SO simple to look at the changes in PD sizes vs crime rates in all cities. The data refute this idiot’s claim. But liberal nazis don’t ever believe in cause and effect, they never look at the data.

Here is what is happening in DC after the BLM/Defund the police movement in past 2 years:
- Increase in homicides 2 years, most in 15 years.
- Carjackings have effing skyrocketed, increase of 200%, thats correct. DC area folks now alter their driving habits when in the city
- Every violent crime category has increased; rapes, sex crimes, assaults', robberies, etc. - Record number of residents have moved out of DC into neighboring MD and VA
