People I work with and know are still getting vax boosters. 25% still wearing masks. Most of my coworkers are so constantly unhealthy that I (and others like me) notice it. Guess they just figure they’re getting older. But I’m getting older and still feel great. Most still watch sports and talk about it endlessly. As a country we aren’t awoken. We are being savaged by the enemy. Most don’t even know it. The enemy is moving their pieces in place, while the majority sleeps.
Betting a horde of Republicans wouldn’t quietly aid this effort is a sucker bet if ever there were one.

A man of my acquaintance was a Congressional staffer for some “R” House Member outta Kansas; went in all starry-eyed and enthusiastic thinking he’d be helping the country helping the GOP. Well, he been done and seen it all, and it’s a whole ‘nother story than he’d ever have believed. Out of 535 there’s MAYBE a baker’s dozen who actually revere The Constitution; for the rest it’s all 100% pure, unadulterated BS concocted for the lights and microphones.
Behind closed doors, no matter how “Conservative,” they’re yukking it up right along with the Democrats about what totally idealistic rubes and bumpkins their constituents are. It’s THEMSELVES first, re-election second, party third, and The Constitution isn’t anything so much as it’s an obstacle to them, and everyone who keeps insisting to them that the Constitution be followed is regarded with all the same warmth and amicability as an angry, inflamed hemorrhoid.
And every fresh crop of “real conservatives” voters send up to Washington get good and “broken” first off; like horses trained to the saddle and bridle. As noobs in DC they haven’t the stature, connections, nor anything else to buck the system, and ongoing attempts to try merely ensure they’ll serve one forgettable term and be gone.
That Cossack Lavarov shooting off his mouth about Russian nukes has probably got the only solution that would actually work to clean up the filth in Washington DC: TORCH it with atomic fire.
Will they be trotting out Anita Hill again? Will they be claiming he sexually harassed his wife?

I think the lower courts will stop this in the first one it gets to. It violates a fundamental principle of jurisprudence, and it bears on their own offices. I think even the most leftist of judges will tread very carefully on this.

They impeached Trump for something Brandon did, so they may be able to do the same here. Conviction and removal would be doubtful.

And judges are presumably smarter than politicians.
But I’ve seen dems do things that are expedient at the time that totally bit them in the ass when the power base shifted.
Dirty Harry Reed comes to mind.
Justices like Thomas and Scalia don’t come around that often. The opportunity to pick the last one off might not be passed up.
I doubt that any Republican senators would vote to convict Clarence Thomas. Some Freepers love to bash congressional Republicans.
So he should be punished for not making his wife submit to him. Got it. I guess he should have used a bigger submitter stick.
Exactly! Justice Thomas needs convert to is slime, beat his wife, and make her wear a hijab. Then the leftists will cheer him as their new hero.
