The Russian military is furious that Putin has downsized the invasion of Ukraine and called for a new escalation of the conflict.
As the Kremlin's war effort stumbles against a dogged Ukrainian resistance, leading figures in the Red Army have reportedly begged Putin to take the country for good.
Military and pro-war Telegram channels are now flooded with calls to commit greater resources to Ukraine and 'fight NATO', according to Russian news agency Agenta.

Oh, sadly, I have had my poor ears assaulted by disgusting rap music.
One day at the grocery store this guy pulled up blasting super loud rap peppered with F-bombs and all about doing nasty violent things to some unfortunate woman. I was walking toward the entrance when this poor mother with two little kids came out of the automatic doors to that booming horror. The mother clapped her hands over the kids ears while squishing them against her body (so each kid had the ear farther from her covered by a hand while nearest ear pressed against her thigh). I got the impression she was practiced at this maneuver. I really felt for her.
I can’t imagine trying to raise kids nowadays. Minefields everywhere.
I have no idea why any conservative would believe anything coming from this administration.
Think about it -- Russia has total control over the air and Black Sea. If the Russians wanted to, they could wipe any city in Ukraine in a "shock and awe" campaign like we've done many times. There isn't a thing Ukraine could do to stop that if Russia went that route.
The Russians will control all of Donbass and, probably, the entire coastline by the time this all done.

After seeing multiple canvass results a over the years, (as well as being exposed to a cross section of Ukrainian’s), it really is not that Ukrainian’s want EU liberalism/leftism/socialism or what many Ukrainian’s correctly identify as EU moral collapse and perversion. Ukraine is that much more fearful of the Russian Federation and the Kremlin, with many angered by CIS forced involvement in Georgia, and Syria, and not wanting to be under the influence of Beijing’s CCP. I have seen this in actual studies, multiple times.
As well, it’s not that NATO members hate UA, but more they are really fearful of Moscows large 9 member, 22.5 Million sq km CIS, with its Beijing/Tehran axis.
*This is an important point, as NATO membership requires unanimous agreement among current NATO members. UA has long been rejected by NATO members, precisely to keep the Texas sized buffer. No such buffer existed between NATO Europe and the USSR for close to 45 years.*
In all reality, NATO is in chaos with normal US leadership completely AWOL, the NATO collective having almost no significant Army, and all major NATO countries dependent on RU energy, albeit coming to an end in the next 1-3 years largely.
Ironically, if and when the Russian Federation and its subordinate CIS re-takes and re-subordinates Ukraine and it’s entire energy trends, it is actually Russia which will have eliminated such the Texas sized Ukrainian buffer zone with NATO, pushing formal subordinate CIS jurisdiction and battle space right up against NATO.
WHEN one becomes literate to how NATO admits members, and has formally rejected UA, the UA buffer still goes away, but actually due to Putin, not NATO.
Putin’s NATO argument is less valuable than the toilet paper it has been repeatedly printed on.
At that point, they'll have no recourse but to become China's economic batch because they won't have any alternatives. The entire basis of Russian Grand strategy for send for centuries has been playing off the East against the West. But once all ties are severed with the west, there is nobody left to counterbalance the monster on their southeastern border. They'll have to submit to Chinese economic terms, follow Chinese foreign policy, etc. A complete disaster for Russia.

The Russians are not nearly is as good a position as you suggest. They may control the Donbas and southern coast as you suggest, but so far in 10 days of heavy fighting they have advanced only a few kilometers. Most of what they captured was a pocket in Luhansk east of Izyum not heavily defended. Now they are facing a defense in depth.
The Russians have spent well over a month flattening Mariupol, and still haven’t taken it. So the whole “two days of we hadn’t been so nice” line is a complete crock.
