Looks to me like Dorsey wants to sell his remaining shares at a higher price than what he would have received had Musk not offered 54 bucks.

Mega payday for those two, why wouldn’t they? Now he can buy all the beard oil on Amazon.

NOT the babylon Bee? Still think Trump should be brought in to be the ‘terminator’.

No chance the CEO actually approves of Musk’s takeover, but it’s what he has to say anyway.

And with that I now have reason NOT to trust him.

Anyone that makes this comment should immediately be discounted: “I trust his mission to extend the light of consciousness.” Dorsey ain’t the maharishi. :>}

Dorset just bought more stocks.
He isn’t good, and doesn’t want to be. He is rich and wants to be richer.

Exactly!

Random thought:
Given all the deplatforming/banning/censorship over the last decade (arguably), with signs of Deep State involvement, along with the rise of a parallel economy and infrastructure, there might be an aspect to this where they're (Deep State et al) are trying to lure back those who have left/are leaving. Maybe, to paraphrase GHW Bush, trying to get people to go back to sleep with promises of a kindler, gentler fascism.

No chance the CEO actually approves of Musk’s takeover, but it’s what he has to say anyway. Why do you say that?
He has only been CEO a few months.
I have read Dorsey was forced out.

“In principle, I don’t believe anyone should own or run Twitter”That says a lot about Dorsey's thoughts on capitalism. Businesses are owned and operated by people. Perhaps Twitter was never meant to be a business, but just a mechanism to control speech.

No he didn’t, Elon owns Twitter 100% now. He’s taking it private.

Dorsey saw and had a hand in what was coming and is positioning to save his hide.

I think that’s foolish. You take Dorsey at his word?
Dorsey just wants more money.

My only source of concern regarding Musk’s buyout: The timing is just as Trumps site is taking off. I would assume that Twitter “appearing” to end their cancelling MO would take the wind out of Trump’s site’s sails. And if it then fades, Twitter can return to its “evil ways.”
But I’ve just become such a skeptic the last 20 years...
