Buckle up, America, Michigan is a precursor of what’s coming in 2022

If you don’t think Trump’s endorsements matter—think again!

Over 2,000 GOP delegates and alternates gathered together today in Grand Rapids, MI, to cast critical votes for the next Republican Secretary of State and Attorney General candidates for the upcoming general election in November 2022. Both races were highly contentious, with two Trump-endorsed, grassroots election integrity candidates, Kristina Karamo for SOS and Constitutional Attorney Matt DePerno. Karamo and DePerno, two grassroots candidates with no political experience and limited campaign funds, ran against career politicians like Tom Leonard, who was showered with money and endorsements from establishment Republicans and anti-America First PAC money.

Not surprisingly, populist candidate Kristina Karamo walked away with 1344 votes and emerged victorious in her bid to become the next GOP candidate for SOS in Michigan. Her next closest competitor, a sitting MI State Representative Beau LeFave, got 390 votes, and Cindy Berry, a Macomb Co. city clerk, got 267 votes.

Michigan GOP delegates also sent a strong message to the school boards at 3 major universities in Michigan when they elected anti-mask, anti-vaccine mandate, and anti-CRT candidates to serve on the boards of the increasingly liberal universities: Michigan State University, the University of Michigan, and Wayne State University.

The attacks from the media were swift, labeling Kristina and Matt “conspiracy theorists” and “election deniers.” BuzzFeed, the first publication to push the fake Russian dossier, attempted to paint Kristina Karamo as someone pushing fake conspiracy theories because she believes there was massive voter fraud in the 2020 election.

They better be careful, or this old cynical man who has witnessed nothing but capitulation and cowardice for the last half century, and watched time after time republicans making all sorts of noise about what they would do if only they can get a majority to then worse than squander it when they do in epic lucy with the football style…that old crusty man may feel optimism. My greatest joy would be doubling my investments in depression drugs with all of the wailing democrats flooding psychotherapist offices

I don’t think this has as much to do with Trump endorsing as it does with MAGA type conservatives finally getting into the game of politics via things like the precinct project.

Half of all precinct seats are/were empty at any given time and the full seats tend to be a 50/50 mix of RINOs/MAGA. MAGA people are starting to fill the empty seats to make it a 75/25 - MAGA/RINO split and in some cases, the RINOs are walking away when MAGA people take over.

Likewise with school board races in which Trump doesn’t make endorsements. Conservatives are just getting involved on their own. All very good news. Take over from the inside out and quit waiting for someone else to do it.

With the precinct thing, the GOP could be taken over all the way to the top. Local precinct people vote for county leaders who in turn vote for state leaders who in turn vote for national leaders(think Ronna Romney McDaniel) and these elections are every two years.

Grass roots activists have taken over these delegate situations. Even the f they think like me, I’m not favorable to these “Smokey back room decisions”. What this doesn’t reflect are voters. In my state, party candidates for the general election are selected by voters. There sometimes is a difference between delegate activists and voters.

Better a RINO than a full-fledged progressive democrat.

Republicans, whatever the stripes, would help to take over control of the senate, where the agenda of the president and republicans, are the primary focus. With 51 or more republicans, including RINOs, Biden won't get much done and becomes a lame duck.

Exactly.

The CINO’s let the perves out of the closet

And shoved the average republican into the ignorance closet by hiding how our party actually is structured to work from the ground ( people) up.

Mark Finchem has opened the closet door and let us out with the precinct strategy movement to take both our party and Republic back from the Marxists in Cino/Rino drag.

Bravo!

The concept of voting for the lesser of two evils usually sets some hair on fire around here, but it is exactly the same as
- starting a small controlled fire to stop a larger fire;
- keeping one's foot on the gas while gingerly tapping the brakes;
