US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin will travel to Kyiv Sunday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said, for his first face-to-face meeting with members of President Biden’s cabinet since the Russian invasion began.
“Tomorrow, the American officials are coming to visit us,” Zelensky said in a Saturday press conference.

“I sure hope Putin doesn’t do anything unexpected on Sunday”
Don’t worry, Putin won’t. But it makes more sense for Zelensky to do it, considering that the media will then pin it on Putin. And considering the way Zelensky is taking advantage of the media being on his side to commit war crimes, I wouldn’t put this past him.
These days, is anything even real? If there was no war, how would we know?
If this is Zelensky’s direction he would have left with the dough so many here say he has two months ago. The guy stayed bn in Kyiv when the Russians were 20 kliks away. Putin has hit teams after him. Zelensky is the very imperfect leader of a very imperfect and corrupt govt. But that govt’s military has inflicted great loss on the Russians. Are the Ukie grunts doing this corrupt enablers of the Deep State? Or are they just grunts fighting an invader? I cannot believe those here who support Putin. He is a KGB thug who murders his political adversaries,and rewards his pals with opportunities for vast wealth. Who dreams of resurrecting the Soviet Empire. Who threatens the West with nukes. He has engaged in 6 wars in 20 years. If Zelensky and the Ukie army are successful in resisting him maybe those Russian oligarchs might decide Putin must go.
What can those two add ... peak stupidity has already been reached.
They want to make sure there are no more cease-fire talks with Putin. They need this boiling in November.

he’s not the leade but a puppet. Igor Kolomoisky is the real puppeteer of TV comedian Zelensky. I had to listent to Gonzalo Lira’s podcast/youtube channel who explained how Zelensky “won” and the real mastermind.
Believe it or not, Zelensky was the ACTOR on the TV show “servant of the People” and the way it worked, was that on the elections the following year, there was NONE as the media “just stated” Zelensky won for some reason.
Igor Kolomoisky is the Ukrainian multi billionaire who owned/ran the show “servant of the people” BTW.

Perhaps Zelensky is going to provide some entertainment (piano and dance) for the group.
I believe it is a very messy political thing as you very well imply. Impossible to pick sides, No way to know who is in the “right”.
It seems like this issue could have been resolved back after Russia took Crimea....but I can only use info I get thru the media screen. So there is no way I could know. Either way.....somebody was sleeping on the job.
Not for long, after the people here, illegally, decide to coalesce and form a breakaway group. I heard that Azerbaijanis are moving into Armenia to eventually do that. But I really don’t know. Something very bizarre is going on for sure
