ight years ago, a trio of Ukrainian army brigades fighting Russian-backed separatists in eastern Ukraine’s Donbas region made a fatal mistake. They idled their tanks and trucks around a static command post.

Is this akin to the sheriff untying the bad guys horses from in front of the saloon & then arresting them while they try to find their horses???
Leaving your tanks idling in Ukraine is like leaving your car with the keys inside in Oakland.
I keep getting the Ukrainians and the Kardashians confused.
One of them have a really fat ass, right?
I wish MSN would tell the truth, all the time. It is hard to believe, some things, and then hear them really give an opposite opinion on others. Is this the news MSN gets from the Ukrainian War Propaganda Dept?
Forbes, not MSN.
It’s from MSN and yet you still post it like it’s not “fake news.” Will some of you never learn? If you want the truth about this military operation, or any news story the media is pushing, you have to do your own research and seek out alternative news sources.
We were trained to count the number for antennas on the vehicle or find the antenna farm and attack it first. Russian CPs being closer to the front become easier targets for drone strikes or infiltration from poor security practices. That switchblade one-way UAV would be very nasty against a light armored CP especially if you loitering for the commander to show up and take him out.
I guess it can be hard to tell oligarchs apart as both have money, but the think the smarter ones are Ukrainian.
“I have a big butt and my hips don’t lie” are the other ones.
Im sure we are giving them real time info on where everything is.
Just repeating the stories put out by the British Intelligence disinformation machine in the Christopher Steele tradition.
And why should there be disinformation?
In 1968 the media made it look like the Commies won the Tet Offensive so the need to counter spin in 2022 the media now lapdogs of the government machine IMHO its gone way too far to other side and crossed the boundaries of truth.
At this point 10,000 Russian generals are dead and 20,000 command posts destroyed it sounds like. I’m starting to laugh at this stuff cause its piled way too high and deep with no one asking questions like journalists are supposed to.
You were just posting an FYI, but Forbes has been horrible as well over the last years.
I believe they’re foreign owned now IIRC.
CCP bought Forbes out. IIRC
Thanks guys.
I think basically ALL of the old school rags are now owned by a state and/or non-state actors and proxies.
They certainly are not surviving on subscriptions and newsstand sales.
How’s that suppose to jive with the fact Ukraines laying in ruins. If it’s even true.
What sort of lazy crap is this?
Botched headline and a SINGLE line excerpt?
Back in the day, we used to excerpt a full 300 words, even deliberately picking out the juiciest parts
but that must be too much work now ...
Oh Great All Wise God of FR, I abase myself before your shining throne.
