Ukraine has been indiscriminately shelling it’s own citizens for eight years. Where’s the outrage about that?
What a crock of horse manure. We support abortion even to the extent of infanticide. So, in essence “nothing is sacred anymore”, has been the reality long before that strike happened. But that is going to happen when combatants hide amongst civilians.
Civilian casualties are tragic and happen in every war. The sooner Ukraine decides it wants peace and is willing to negotiate, the fewer deaths there will be. Funny how nobody is talking about that. At this point Crimea and the Donbass are a done deal, like it or not. Further fighting isn’t going to change that, so what exactly is the point of continuing it, other than they expect to draw NATO into this mess.
Luckily no children have been killed in the Libyan civil war we started by bombing a country that didn’t attack us.
Or last year by us in Afghanistan, or Iraq.
There are three sides to every modern coin, and this one is too difficult to call.
Unfortunately, however, when a government arms civilians and encourages them to withstand an invader, as Ukraine did immediately, it clearly puts the suffering and lives of innocent civilians on the table.

Most victims of war are innocents. ThAT is war. Inadvertent causalities are just war.
