Rep. Charlie Crist (R-FL), who is vying to challenge Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) in this year’s gubernatorial race, believes it is “boneheaded” to eliminate woke Disney’s self-governing district.
“Attacking Disney, threatening to harm our state’s economic powerhouse that creates so many jobs and brings in so many tourism dollars is a boneheaded move however you look at it,” Crist said, stating that DeSantis a “threat to our state’s economy”:

Just a reminder that Charlie Crist was Mitch McConnell’s preference to win the Republican Senate primary in 2010.
He later became a Democrat, naturally.
Oh, and Mitch McConnell didn’t want Ron DeSantis in the Senate either.

As if Disney’s going to leave Florida? And go where and rebuild that has nice weather all year? Who wants that next to them now anyway? Disney couldn’t get their theme park in Northern Virginia in the ‘90’s after secretly buying up land.
Why is Breitbart calling Crist a Republican? He’s been a Democrat for a decade now, and he’s running in the Democrat primary for Florida governor.

Charlie Crist is NOT a Republican. Calling him one is as assinine as calling Ronald Reagan, Newt Gingrich or Rush Limbaugh Democrats.
Disneyland in California somehow thrives without being a special tax district.
