Black Americans were disproportionately affected by the skyrocketing murders of 2020. Support of Black Lives Matter and calls to defund the police reverberated across America in 2020 following the death of George Floyd, igniting social justice protests and riots at a time when the coronavirus and lockdowns upended society in unprecedented ways. What was left in 2020's wake was a massive increase in the number of murders, dealing a disproportionate blow to Black Americans.

More blacks killing other blacks, not surprising at all when the constants still are intergenerational welfare dependency, drug addiction, illiteracy, and broken families.

Black Lives Matter only when they say it matters. That is, when they’re committing crimes and resisting arrest. Otherwise, not so much.
Don’t buy the lie; the police were funded but prevented from doing their job.
They want more money for other things, and are using this for cover. Paying more to police, or “re-funding” them, makes no sense when they just stand by and watch.
It was a result of certain people not being held accountable. We know who they are and why they’re walking around freely.

They’re hiding the black-on-black crime stats, which is likely up markedly and probably accounts for 90% of the increase YoY.
Well, just call me an “expert” then. Truly, you do not need a degree in any type of “studies” to have predicted an increase in murders in black communities once law enforcement was instructed to remove themselves from those areas.
If George Floyd knew that his death would be indirectly responsible for the deaths of 2500 black people the following year, would he have reformed? I doubt it. I doubt he ever gave a whit about anything in his entire less than worthless life, capped by its all too predictable end.
Black women vote for Democrats 97.6% of the time, and ONLY Democrats support Defunding the Police. So there’s that.

Bad blacks killing bad blacks I’m good with just like bad whites killing bad whites etc. It’s the innocents that get killed in the process that’s the problem.
Of course he would not have reformed. He was a criminal himself. If he had not died, there is no reason to believe he would not have continued his criminal activities, possibly including another armed robbery.
These stats show that cross racial (my term) murders are unusual in this country...the large majority of murder victims are killed by someone of their own race.More specifically they showed that whites being killed by blacks is rather rare and that blacks being killed by whites is *very* rare. And lastly they showed that blacks are murdered in numbers far,far in excess to their representation in the population.IIRC the absolute number of black murder victims was very close to the number of white victims.
