So you're not allowed to question certain events like Jussie Smollett or WMDs etc?

What happened to the First Amendment?

Also no jury either... What happened to that?

He went past the claim about Sandy Hook and went to slander, when he basically said that the families were in on the act of the murder of their children.

If he kept his position to questioning whether it was a false flag, he might not have been able to sue.

It’s one thing to question. It’s quite another to slander.

It was a civil case not criminal.

Alex did more than question. What he said was outrageous. He did it to himself. Stupid should hurt

Very sad, but it is a risk one runs in his niche.

Being strategic matters. Taking the wrong strategy…

Seriously? That's your attempt to defend what he did?

Alex Jones’ problems are due to Alex Jones.

He’s an arrogant conspiracy theorist and precisely the sort of belligerent weirdo conservatives don’t need. He provides little to no original content other than hosing and commentary on other people’s reporting. In this particular case he went off on his own tangent, causing real harm (a tort) to the families, and is now paying the price as adjudicated in a court of law. He’s not cutting edge or avant garde, he’s schlocky and manic.

Jim Robinson banned his content for years, and I can understand why.

Now do bankrupt New York Times, the Washington Post, CBS, NBC, PBS, ABC, CNN, AP.

They are causing their readers and listeners to burn down cities and do terrorist attacks.

Alex Jones caused his readers to do some prank phone calls.

There were civil cases against Jones in Connecticut and Texas.

In Connecticut, Jones failed to show up for any of the depositions and failed to turn over materials supoenaed by the families. This seems to have gone on for about two years. A judge entered a default ruling based on Jones being a no-show. I don’t know about the Texas case.

Seems like it’s the fault of Jones, first for broadcasting a bunch of nutcase theories about ‘crisis actors’ and then failing to show up in the civil cases.

I mean, ask yourself how you would feel if your Kindergarten-aged child was shot dead and this loudmouth with a massive platform implied you're a lying crisis actor whose kid never existed.

Has anyone ever explained the odd behavior of this ‘victim’s father’ smiling and chuckling as he appears to think he’s not on camera yet, and then goes through what looks like an actor preparing for a dramatic scene when he thinks he’s on?

Bankruptcy is probably a good option at this point. It won’t necessarily stop the various lawsuits, but it will pause them and prevent any collection efforts. The bankruptcy court can abstain or lift the stay for the purpose determining the validity and amount of any claim in litigation, and this allows the plaintiff their right to a jury trial, either in the court where the litigation began or in the local US District Court. One interesting facet of bankruptcy is how it creates unlikely alliances between parties who were at odds prior to the filing. Some creditors may find themselves allied with the debtor and in opposition to rival creditors.

They’ve been giving Alex and Owen Shroyer the January 6th treatment. No rights. They did the same thing to Alex in the Newtown trial. He was not allowed to present any evidence or testimony.

Alex Jones wouldn’t be in this position if he hadn’t made poor choices. Actions have consequences.

For those of you with short memories, Alex Jones was the FIRST, numero uno, to be attacked, deplatformed, cancelled, dropped by every social media platform. They did everything to him except shoot him.

I don’t remember all the details, but I watched Infowars at that time and Alex brought up some very interesting oddities about Sandy Hook.

I don’t recall him saying the things people here are accusing him of. Maybe he did?

WHERE IS THE VIDEO? His program is broadcast “worldwide” on the Internet.

Instead of just attacking him, with no evidence, maybe y’all should look it up.
