Alex Jones’ problems are due to Alex Jones.

He’s an arrogant conspiracy theorist and precisely the sort of belligerent weirdo conservatives don’t need. He provides little to no original content other than hosing and commentary on other people’s reporting. In this particular case he went off on his own tangent, causing real harm (a tort) to the families, and is now paying the price as adjudicated in a court of law. He’s not cutting edge or avant garde, he’s schlocky and manic.

Jim Robinson banned his content for years, and I can understand why.

Alex has questioned numerous events in the news some he got right (Smollett, WMDs, Syria gas attack), some he got wrong.

He is a broadcaster and a journalist

He allows his content now, and I understand why.
