I’ve seen one interview with the guy and he seems okay to me. I’m not an expert on the guy though so I hope its not a bad pick (like Dr.Oz)
This is a bad choice, Mr Trump. A bad choice.
This clown was horrible to you. And, he only apologized when he realized your support could help him.
Right there is his soul...using those around him to gain his own glory.
I will not be supporting JD Vance for ANY office.
“””“Like some others, J.D. Vance may have said some not-so-great things about me in the past, but he gets it now, and I have seen that in spades. He is our best chance for victory in what could be a very tough race,” Trump continued:”””
Trump just issued his ‘fish or cut bait’ challenge to the RINO’s in Ohio.
My only contact regarding JD Vance has been on Bannon’s War Room.
Bannon has promoted Vance and that is supportive.
The middle finger is extended to the Republican Establishment in Ohio.
President Trump made the right choice!
We need @JDVance1 in Washington to fight back against those who put America Last. https://t.co/iweTdkaoBF— Matt Gaetz (@mattgaetz) April 15, 2022
Trump sees the big picture and does not make endorsements blindly or without due consideration.
McConnell We need candidates who can win
Seems Trump is taking a page from McConnell's book but slightly different and more based on star power and talking ability. Dr Oz had his own show. Vance wrote a book that got turned into a movie and is well spoken. A Yale man.
I doubt either Oz or Vance have the connection to regular people that Trump does. If they're the only candidate with a hope of beating the dem in their locale, I suppose that's a good thing.
Dr. Oz and now Vance. Just a taste of the continuing bad choices he will make when in office again
Vance is a triangulating POS.
But...we here in Ohio have a chance to defeat him in the primary with Mandel or Timkin.
The other guys are also CofC chumps like Vance.
I AM an Ohio voter and I hope he loses. He's a Kasich RINO, pro-union, anti right-to-work, pro abortion, and is a puppet of Peter Thiel. No thanks.

I’m not from Ohio either.
I trust Ohio GOP voters will sort it out.
Been watching Vance closely for over a year-Twitter tweets & interviews have been dread on on every issue. I was planning on voting for him before Trumps endorsement. He’s not an elite politician like the others. So quite fretting ya pearl clutchers. Lol
I just moved to Ohio last December, and the May 3 primary will be my first chance to vote since I helped elect Glenn Youngkin governor in Virginia.
Mike Gibbons shot himself in the gonads by making some dumb comment about the middle class and income taxes. If he is the nominee, the ‘Rat Tim Ryan will be ramming this down his throat. I fear he is Richard Mourdock 2.0 or Todd Akin 2.0.
I didn’t like J. D. Vance at first, but I have given him a second look, and I am ready to vote for him. Sadly, the most conservative guy in the race, Mark Pukita, doesn’t seem to have a realistic path to the nomination. Jane Timken and Matt Dolan don’t appear to be authentic conservaties, despite the claim by Canton Jane that she is “Trump Tough” and by the son of the Guardians owner Dolan that he is the only action guy and the others are all talk.
The last major candidate, former statewide office holder Josh Mandel, repulses me. It is great that he once served in the Marines. His campaign that only military vets should serve in office smacks of “patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel”. While many great veterans have served in Congress, we have had some awful ones as well, such as Chrissy Houlahan, Joe Sestak and Elaine Luria.
I guarantee you that, whatever the outcome on May 3, we need to close ranks around our nominee and beat the absolute dog**** out of Ryan, a hammer and sickle boy from the old school.
Just dropped in to gloat! 😎🇺🇸✊
Let’s goooo JD!!
