That’s useless
Grandstanding. But it will work given his competition.
"Price gouging." That is a vague and meaningless term. Do they have teams of finance experts and accountants going through the books of companies looking at their costs of production and distribution, their pricing strategies, the same thing for every competitor in an industry? How else would you determine if they were "gouging"?
Are companies raising prices in advance of expected price increases by their suppliers? Is an anticipatory price increase "gouging"? Is slapping a "fuel surcharge" on your delivery costs "gouging"?
I HATE and LOATHE all government weenies looking for a boogieman scapegoat for their own malfeasance. They need to look no further than 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, DC. The man who lives there has single-handedly destroyed the economy.
” ongoing supply chain disruptions.”
On purpose.
Kemp’s buddy Abrams is having trouble sourcing timely delivery of a sufficient quantity of completed ballots at various locations?
I think this is in anticipation of a rumor that’s floating about right now. Walmart is going to have a 40% price increase in the next few weeks.
Aldi’s did that in Europe a few weeks ago up to 50%.
Kemp may be anticipating the inflationary increase and thinks an EO will absolve him.
There’s no food shortage in the stores at present. Gas is $3.56 per gallon.
HORSE-—MEET BARN DOOR
Kemp could start shipping his illegals up north to provide some relief for Georgia’s residents.
There will be, though, if producers can't cover their costs, or doom-mongers scare the public into panic buying.
Can’t be much panic buying on veggies. They don’t store like TP.
Last Wednesday i drove through Port Wentworth, GA on route 25. The truck traffic was backed up for miles. There were thousands and thousands of containers waiting for pickup. It was quite a scene.
I just experienced “price gouging” on the repair of my Dodge Ram diesel pick-up.
I suppose the Washington state auto repair shop could argue my truck repair bill was outrageous because of Putin’s attack on Ukraine and from Biden’s inflation.
That’s rather concerning (I used to drive into Savannah to work every day from Effingham County). I can’t imagine seeing the truck traffic backed up like that.
It will of course create more shortages.
Unfortunately this POS is going to win again! He is the number one enemy of Trump. Purdue would’ve been nice if he would be leading this backstabbing bastard!
