Despite historic inflation numbers and low marks, resident Joe Biden is doubling down on gun control.
On Monday, he announced a final rule to ban so-called “ghost guns” and used the occasion to nominate Steve Dettelbach, a failed Democratic Ohio Attorney General candidate, to lead the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATFE).
Unfortunately for Biden and Democrats, pushing sweeping policies that target law-abiding gun owners will hurt their midterm election prospects.
Banning “Ghost Guns” Won’t Deter Crime
Gun control advocates and their media backers have a new target in their crosshairs: “ghost guns.” The White House announced their final rule:

I guess whoever is in charge at the White House didn’t notice the reaction when automatic weapons were distributed to Ukrainian civilians. Having an armed population has nothing to do with hunting.

The pushed priorities of the current administration seem to indicate the belief this is their last chance before losing congress.

That would be true, IF gun owners were also gun voters. Unfortunately, most gun owners won't donate $5 to a pro-gun candidate, or join a gun owners group, and they sit on their butts when it's time to vote (or worse, vote D@mocrat).
But when the gun grabbers get elected and pass another ban, BOY HOWDY! do they ever rush out, to buy up whatever just got banned for three or four times what it's worth! It's as predictable as the sun rising in the east - and unfortunately, for way too many of 'em "there's no fixin' stupid"...
“Ghost guns” - guns that exist only in the minds of the looney left.
It is much easier for the Government to prevent you from obtaining a gun that you do not have, than it is for them to take away a gun you already do have.

The NYC shooter didn’t use a ghost gun. He legally bought it in 2011. Since he’s a convicted felon, it should have been confiscated but wasn’t. The problem is not gun laws, it’s our inept government!
Assuming enough of the voting systems across the Country have been cleared of Democrat fraud mechanisms...
It’s oughta be a blood bath.
If not, then not. A few seats will change... but nothing else will.
wonder if he was compliant with, New York Pistol License (NYPL) is required to possess a loaded handgun outside of the home or place of business. Concealed carry is only legal with a NYPL.

They’re probably including stolen guns that have had their serial numbers removed.
Why spend $80? If you need one, you can buy a brand new "Anderson Manufacturing AM-15 Lower Receiver" for $39.99 (+tax/fees & $9.99 shipping) on GunBroker; look in the "Semi Auto Rifles" category. If you know an FFL who doesn't charge an arm and a leg for a transfer, your total will probably be in the $70-$75 range...

As you say the government only has its own incompetence, stupid laws, failed leftist ideology to blame for things like this, and we all know they're never going to accept that they only have themselves to blame.
