Poll: Majority of National Voters Have a Favorable View of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis

A majority of likely voters across the country have a favorable view of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) — a telling figure given the establishment media’s constant attacks and attempts to frame his policies as appealing to only a fringe minority.

Overall, 52 percent of respondents said they have a favorable impression of the Florida governor, and of those, 37 percent said they have a “very” favorable view.

Opinions are sharply divided on party lines, as 76 percent of Republicans have a favorable impression of DeSantis, compared to 53 percent of Democrats who have an unfavorable impression.

Independents are split, although plurality, 46 percent, said they have a favorable impression, compared to 32 percent who have an unfavorable view.

Not 2024!

That will be Trump!

And I highly doubt it, given the relationship between the two men, that DeSantis would even consider it if Trump runs, which he is giving every indication that he intends to.

2028 is DeSantis’ if he wants it.

What??? How can this be???? The liberals who have bitched about that law in Florida said he’s a Neanderthal, he’s evil, he’s taking us back to the middle ages, and other assorted one liners. You mean to say that the media and Hollywood idiots and other assorted leftists, do not reflect the actual public opinion?????

Pretty healthy number for DeSantis all in all. I’d be happy with him. We shall see.

DeSantis is the best possible candidate for President in 2024 in every possible way.

I encourage Trump, and Trump supporters, to fully support DeSantis.

You couldn't be more wrong!

Trump is the Trail Blazer and the Best!

DeSantis will have his turn, just not in 2024!

Please explain how, in your view, Trump could prevail against the media and technology blackout that would be imposed on his campaign if he runs.

I want my Gov. to serve out all his terms first. Thank you. Then the country can have him. Sorry, I’m a states first kind of person.

this bears repeating

DJT was the best president we have had in a very long time, that said his baggage makes it even odds on winning in 2024 and considering his poor choices in advisors and staff I can see a stupid mistake costing us a great opportunity.

DeSantis doesn’t have the baggage and seems to know how to assemble competent staff.

Trump should take an honorary speaker of the house position or something and leave this to someone with more of a chance (and much younger)

Trump better improve his game. Endorsing people like Dr. Oz doesn’t help. Trump is listening to the wrong people.

I will happily vote for Trump if he is the nominee. But, I feel he will be too old, and his reputation is too (unjustly) tattered by the lies told about him. I also feel that Trump didn’t do a very good job with cabinet picks.

DeSantis is my man in 2024. In fact, I’d go DeSantis/Abbott. Let the Dems call a man in a wheelchair names.

Maybe you’re listening to the wrong people. The alternative was to endorse the Jeb Bush Republican. McCormick flubbed his interviews with Trump for the endorsement. And a hedge fund swamp guy isn’t going to win.

And as for so called baggage, don’t you all know they are going to do the same to whoever runs?

I’ll certainly vote for Trump, but I would prefer DeSantis on the top of the ticket in 2024.

Please explain to me why they would treat DeSantis any different.

BTW, great strategy of yours to run away from the fight.
