Indeed. Nobody wants to live in the city New York is becoming.
Another nail in the coffin — that’s what the Brooklyn subway attack was. Crime, crime nd more crime, and now this.
Subway terror is the stuff of nightmares — and a banner day for the owners of moving companies. Helping people get out of Dodge already is a booming business, and nothing spreads the determination to escape New York faster than the fear of being trapped in the subway with a madman with a gun and a sack full of explosives and smoke cannisters.
The 40 or 50 people actually in the attacker’s N-train car are stand-ins for the other 8.8 million people who are now terrified themselves. Everyone is realizing that they or someone they love could have been there. Just to imagine the possibility makes the heart beat faster.
Gov. Hochul knows that, which is why she rushed to be part of the first police briefing. She started out in a soft voice talking about what had seemed “a normal day” but soon warmed to the significance of the moment, declaring firmly and loudly, “It has to end. It ends now.”
“We are sick and tired of reading headlines about crime,” she said. “It has to stop. I’m committing the full resources of our state to fight this surge of crime, this insanity that is seizing our city, because we want to get back to normal.”
“Normal” is such a comforting word. But if Hochul means she wants New York to get back to a safer time, she’ll have to be more specific about the era...

Adams is a moron. First thing he does is cry about gun regulation. The left won’t be happy until it’s illegal for anyone, aside from politician’s security, to own a gun.
NY is hosed. I wouldn’t go there on a bad bet. And I have no sympathy for NY’ers. Vote for idiots and you will get what you deserve.
Democrats were all for “defund the police” and no bail, early releases, etc.
Now that crime is rising even more, they are scrambling to deny they want to defund the police because it threatens their stranglehold over big cities and leftist states.
Democrats who cannot lose elections still support defund the police, showing everyone that this would be the policy if the left had total control over the nation.
I have an idea for NYC. Why don’t you:
1. defund the police.
2. release criminals with no bail
3. allow looters to roam free
4. ignore small crimes such as theft and assault
5. keep electing soft-on-crime deocrats
Yes, that’ll fix the problem.
Something isn’t right about this crime; no cameras, he drops his credit card & keys at the scene, rents a van in his own name 5 days before the crime, leaves a bag in the van he rented.

Within New York City, 68.28 percent of registered voters are Democrats. The crime wave is solely the fault of democrat voters. They want to defund the police, now they own it.

Democrats won’t even post a yard sign around here come election time.
Arguably, putting 8 million people in one small area and 68% of them are democrats means you have an unfixable problem.
