MSNBC anchor Nicolle Wallace said Tuesday on her show “Deadline” that the shooting on the Brooklyn subway train, which injured more than a dozen people, showed “how urgent gun reform” was needed in this country.
At a press conference, Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY) said, “The entire state of New York stands with the people of the city, this community, and we say no more. No more mass shootings. No more disrupting lives. No more creating heartbreak for people just trying to live their lives as normal New Yorkers. It has to end. It ends now.”

Yes...every law abiding, legal, adult citizen needs a gun
It shows an urgent need to get rid of Public Transportation.
Mostly for the women and children.

They guy who did it had been in the mental asylum. He should not have had a gun. That is the law. The law did not work because either the NICS system did not work or someone did not secure their firearm and it was stolen.

Handguns are already outlawed in NY, FFS. More gun laws are obviously not the answer. I can’t believe this numbskull was ever actually a Republican.
There are 389 million guns in the US. Even if guns ARE the problem…they aren’t going away. We need to come up with a different solution.
Stating that this event illustrates the need to get rid of guns makes as much sense as stating that it illustrates the need to get rid of blacks because the shooter was indeed black.
Reform as in allowing citizens of NYC to ccw? Guess not.
