It’s hard to imagine why Nate Silver or any other political commentator would not see her a a formidable (perhaps dominant) candidate.

She was and can easily return to being a dominant force. Virtually nobody voted for John McCain in 2008, Despite everything the media thew at her, it was only her popularity that got McCain as far as he did get in that election. The media attacks did leave a mark but they only attacked her so viciously because they were terrified of her. She is smart, charismatic and has the right instincts to do well in any political contest. I wonder how much they will offer her ex husband to write a “tell all” book.
