America and Much of the Developed World Is on the Fast Track to Food Shortages: “Holodomor”
Based Underground ^ | April 9, 2022 | Lance D. Johnson

The atrocities of world history are taking form again, in some of the exact same regions of the world. From 1932-1933, Joseph Stalin and the Soviet Union committed mass genocide in Ukraine by starving the population and imprisoning and killing dissenters. The Ukrainian famine of 1932-1933 was known as the Holodomor, which means to “inflict death” through “starvation.” Approximately 13.9 million people were starved to death during that time.

At the time, Stalin captured individually-owned and operated farms and replaced them with state-run collectives. Farmers who resisted were labeled “kulaks” and marked as “enemies of the state.” When the Soviets failed to maintain their target harvest, Stalin ordered the grain to be confiscated. The Soviets deployed secret police and internal passports to crack down on Ukrainians who were hoarding food or trying to escape.

Today, the war in Ukraine threatens crops and commodities that many parts of the world depend on. With the addition of further economic, banking and energy sanctions, much of the developed world is on pace to experience food shortages that they’ve never seen before — a man-made, modern day Holodomor.

Global instability and the fallout from wartime economic sanctions affects us all

In Ukraine today, farms are being overrun, crops are not being planted, families are fleeing across the border, and men are being conscripted to fight off the Russian invasion. The breadbasket of the world is being ransacked once again.

May become a big problem in the USA since Biden and the Dems are bringing an additional 5 to 10 million mouths to feed.

They have, year after year for decades. It’s planting season right now and there are no weather guarantees, ever.

Most Americans would benefit from missing a meal or two.

The underdeveloped countries will not be able to afford food, and those that do not produce enough will experience famine.”

It appears that all the people from those countries can just walk in here and get money for food, free plane rides, free hotels and free phones.

Immigration is a very small percentage of the 2 billion undernourished people globally.

If there is a general lack of food, borders will be slammed shut.

Having food be a larger part of the budget would not be a bad thing. More food prepared at home may also be healthier.

The willfully blind, the proud and the uninformed on this thread are sadly in for a rude awakening in a few months.

The fertilizer shortages alone are a huge problem.
Not to mention parts for farm equipment, distribution, hyperinflation, crashing USD, diminished wages and jobs. I could go on.

Those who hold to ridicule, denial and bravado will be the hardest hit as their adjustment reaction is way behind the learning curve about the information necessary for sound planning. These will be the most angry souls come November, but the warnings have been clear for many months.

The 18 wheeler that supplies the convenience store in this upper middle class neighborhood has an unmarked, open carrying armed plain clothed security detail shadow it and guard it as it delivers. What does this tell you that the distributors know and are planning for that you just haven’t figured out yet?

Cluephone is ringing.
Might want to get that call.

Iceagefarmer on YouTube.
Get up to speed friends.
Look how long he’s been sounding the alarm, by checking his archives. The details have been known for a while.
Get up to speed...FAST!
You’ve been warned.

...that is all

2022, FL FARMERS ARE ASKING TO CHECK PRODUCE PLACE OR ORIGIN. FL CAN PRODUCE ORANGES, TOMATOES, STRAWBERRIES ETC CHEAPER THEN OUT OF COUNTRY. BUT, CANNOT SELL TO DOMESTIC BUYERS.

ACTUALLY PUBLIX MISSION STATEMENT: “To be the premier quality food retailer in the world.”

OTHER BIG BOX STORES PURCHASE MORE GLOBALLY & OFTEN MORE EXPENSIVELY AS WELL! FYI: CHECK OUT FROZEN CHICKEN & FISH IN WALMART: COME FROM CHINA

SUMMATION:
FL FARMERS ARE ASKING (BEGGING) SHOPPERS TO CHECK ORIGIN OF FRESH FOOD PRODUCE & GO TO MANAGEMENT TO COMPLAIN IF OUT OF COUNTRY.

REMEMBERING:

So what has gone wrong?

A dramatic dip in demand, weak links in the highly consolidated supply chain, and decades of industry monopolization, experts say.

“A large portion of our food is now produced for restaurants, hotels, schools, and institutional users, about 50 percent. Those markets have effectively closed up, and there is not enough demand for home use now,” Dan Glickman, Executive Director of the Aspen Institute and former U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, told Fox News. “Nor is the supply chain set up for this rapid transformation.”

From his purview, the supply chain has become very centralized, especially in meat and poultry.

“This move towards concentration of food processing has been a general trend for many years and has been done for efficiency and cost-cutting purposes.

“This has led to increased centralization and consolidation in the food system whereby a smaller number of very large integrated firms control the processing, distribution, and sale of food in the U.S. and globally,” Jackson-Smith explained. “Concentration is particularly notable in meat and dairy, where a few very large firms control the processing and distribution of the majority of output in the U.S.”

But in an effort to ease the burden on the agricultural sector, last month, the TRUMP administration announced the Coronavirus Food Assistance Food Program, which will issue $16 million in payments to ranchers and farmers. It also allots $3 billion in bulk purchases of dairy, meat the produce to be dispersed through food banks.

That they also make deliveries in less savory neighborhoods and criminal gangs have roving tendencies?

Many people also have the option, if they want local produce, to shop at framer’s markets and stop at roadside stands.

You get fresher produce and all the money goes directly to the farmer, not 5o the retail store or food wholesalers while the farmer gets screwed over.

What could go wrong?

The major counterparties to those futures contracts fail to deliver due to "force majeure" and go under. Trading gets halted "to correct market imbalances".

Your investment gets zeroed out.

Your only good investment is one for which you can take and hold physical possession.

--- "i had the same take...."

Thanks for the reflection. It seems as if "news" is becoming more about starting stampedes with half-truths and distortions. Usually with marketing of products as a goal.

Basedunderground.com was started on Christmas day of 2020, mid-"pandemic", and its about page on the site tells nothing of who operates it, where they are excepting that the whois.com info shows "California,"

Given the recent revelation that even the Biden administration made, that they traffic in misinformation, I tend to trust a source when there is some information about who/what that source is.

If the author is as one might guess by looking further, he is selling his book on Amazon. I have no problem with selling, but am always skeptical of "young experts."

Source: https://www.amazon.com/Vax-Freedom-Guide-Individuals-Professionals/dp/B09S65RZX2/ref=sr_1_2?crid=4YCPMPSV6VM6&keywords=vax+freedom+guide&qid=1645212802&sprefix=vax+freedom+guid%2Caps%2C85&sr=8-2

Lance D. Johnson's web page was registered five days after basedground.com. The "About" page is generic with no specific details about his education and such, while his mission statement speaks to "developing a for-profit business." So skepticism is twice warranted.

The singular Holomodor is now too easily researched for any assertion that a next "Holomodor" will be just a "supply chain" problem. I still have my oldest brother's ration book from WWII, when indeed food supplies were "short." But that was no "Holomodor." Sure was a war though.

Governments have lied for decades and repeatedly, usually with the goal of manipulating the public. Media have also lied with the same goal. Corporations too. Seems wise to be skeptical, read deeply and carefully. And as Reagan advised, "verify." Best wishes.

"I don’t tell people what I have. Basic opsec."

Technically, since he's using a handle, you probably don't know who this person is or where they live. But you're right - it's not too smart bragging about how much you have when there's a possibility that, in the near future, desperate, hungry people will be roaming the country looking for food
