Hahaha!
Getting my popcorn ready. Liberal tears inbound.
How will we control people’s minds now?
Twitter up 21% in premarket to 47.5
DWAC (soon to be Truth social) down 12% to 55.55
Hostile takeover?
If this is true, then he becomes the largest single shareholder in Twitter.
It’s a simple strategy...it’s not Twitter you aim at...you go at the board and have them dismissed...bringing new board members in. He needs secondary support, but if you had 100,000 people going out and buying 50 to 300 shares each...suddenly these Twitter board meetings would get fairly interesting.
Twitter has too many woke employees , not much may change
Looks like he is getting ready for a hostile (maybe not so hostile) takeover.
He declared a Passive stake - unclear what the SEC rules are for changing it to Active, but can’t be done overnight or on whim. So hold you horses on speculation. If he goes to 10%, he must declare his intentions.
When will talks about merger or outright hostile acquisition start?
Calling Carl Ican, please report to the Twitter hotline.
How long does it take to secure 73.5 million shares that are for sale?
that is confusing since every share holder has a vote.
Maybe to start changing it around for the better.
I can’t believe DWAC is higher than Twitter, even after Elon Musk bought it!
Elon Musk currently owns significantly more TWTR stock than founder Jack Dorsey.
Since the TWTR stock price is almost exactly where it was in 2014, he can make the argument to institutional owners (77.13% of shares) that Twitter’s extreme wokeness has been harming the shareholders.
And when he buys a majority share?
Uh, oh.
Now that is a rational thought worth believing. With the votes of the other large stockholders who own lots of other Musk company shares and trust him implicitly, Elon can control Twitter.
Once in control, transformation can take place
9.2% is significant. He could effectively control the company at twice that, depending upon the other shareholders and the other large stake holders.
With that stake they will have to give him at least one seat on the board.
