Former President Donald Trump enthusiastically endorsed former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin in her run to fill Rep. Don Young’s (R-AK) congressional seat.
Hailing the former Alaska governor as a “wonderful patriot,” Donald Trump praised Palin for her persistence in the face of the Democrats’ attacks on her.
“Wonderful patriot Sarah Palin of Alaska just announced that she is running for Congress, and that means there will be a true America First fighter on the ballot to replace the late and legendary Congressman Don Young,” said Trump.
Sarah Palin notably endorsed Trump very early in the 2016 primaries. “We are ready for a change. We are ready and our troops deserve the best, a new Commander-in-Chief whose track record of success has proven he is the master at ‘The Art of the Deal,'” she said.
In his endorsement, Trump recalled how Palin elevated the 2008 McCain campaign as the media and establishment Republicans sabotaged her.
“Sarah lifted the McCain presidential campaign out of the dumps despite the fact that she had to endure some very evil, stupid, and jealous people within the campaign itself,” he said. “They were out to destroy her, but she didn’t let that happen.”
“Sarah Palin is tough and smart and will never back down, and I am proud to give her my Complete and Total Endorsement and encourage all Republicans to unite behind this wonderful person and her campaign to put America First!” he concluded.

I’m thrilled Sarah is getting back into elected politics.
Well I’d say don’t judge Palin by the 2008 campaign. She was a novice on the MSM so I’m sure she had no idea McStain was deep state and had no intention of winning in 2008. Let’s not forget that the people/patriots in Alaska loved her. Also do you know of any other pol with an 80% approval rating. When we clear out the corruption and fill up Guantanamo Bay with deep state I’d bet Trump will be at 60-70% approval but who else was ever above 80%?
I do think a lot of Hillary supporters after the Rat Convention were upset with Obama enough to have considered voting for McCain.
This might be a stupid question. Forgive me. I remember Alaska being solid conservative. Now it’s shaky. What is happening there now.
Voter fraud and election fraud is on the rise in all states, esp. any where tis easier to dupe people.
If you thought about it a little more, I don’t think you
would.
Our nation is in a financial crisis right now. Inflation has
entered the scene, and it’s going to get a lot worse. Our
fiscal house isn’t in order. There are a number of troubling
international things taking place right now.
We need a person who grasps the finer principles of financial
dealings. We need someone with top level management skills,
in an international setting would be helpful. We need a
person with proven international skill sets that get others
to do what he wants whether they truly want to or not.
If you compare her to Trump, you wouldn’t want her over him
to address the nation in the situation it will be in around
January 2025.
It’s okay to like her and think she’s a top level
Conservative. I get that. I do think folks can go
overboard. With more thought, I think most folks
would realize that we could do worse than Palin,
but we could also do a lot better.
I don’t fault her for running with McCain. If I wasn’t being
fair I could. I think she did the best anyone could under
that situation, and she was a far better candidate than he
was.
If she had 100% approval, that would not guarantee she had
the financial savvy to manage our current problems. It
wouldn’t mean that she could handle the press as well as
Trump did. It wouldn’t mean that she would be a great
statesman.
Trump had his faults too, but I just don’t see Sarah as
being a presidential level person.
Not trying to be mean to her. I don’t think she could have
done as well as Trump did with Kim. I don’t think Putin
would have enough respect of her to refrain from doing
things he wanted to.
Trump Palin 2024
“Trump had his faults too, but I just don’t see Sarah as
being a presidential level person.”
She is a smalltown mayor level person .
That sounds about right to me.
Not trying to be vicious in my assessment, but I just do not
see in her anything other than a fandom draw.
Lots of public figures have fan appeal, but she’s just not
presidential timber.
Others will disagree, and that’s alright with me.
Thanks Sushiman.
