“Now that this is out there, I don’t know how you stay on another day and continue taking questions from your new employer,” said Rory Cooper this morning about Jen Psaki’s imminent career change.
I agree. You know who else agrees? NBC.

Applying ethical standards to an occupation as half-assed as journalism is like having food safety standards for dog crap.

The FDA is likely to get right on that.

It is also unethical for anyone to work at MSNBC.
They pretend to be a news organization and their propagandists pretend to be reporters and journalists.

She’s currently working as Biden’s press secretary and is considering a job at MSNBC. Where is “ethics” involved in either one?
To: Rummyfan
Ethical?
Ethics?
Of course, Jen Psaki has ethics.
Everyone has ethics.
Some have good ethics, some have bad ethics.
Some, like Psaki and most Democrats just have BAD ethics. Mostly these are covered up by the news media who also have bad ethics.

Not understanding the controversy here at all. This behavior demonstrates exactly what MSDNC is looking for in on-air talent. And doesn’t everybody want to look their best when angling for a new job?

I think the only difference between the WH press spokesperson and almost any member of the press corps is on which side of the podium they happen to work.
The message seems to be pretty much the same.

The difference is, then she’ll be working for just one crooked media outfit instead of for all of them.
