Regarding the release of oil from the SPR, we now learn that bribing voters with lower oil prices, which are high as a result of disastrous and insane domestic policy, is the sort of strategic move captured intended by the name of the “strategic” petroleum reserve. Biden should thank every Republican who put oil into it, that now allows Biden to make this not-at-all-blatantly-partisan strategic move. (While also crippling America’s actual strategic position in the event of another oil embargo.)

It clearly costs MORE than traditional (combined nuclear, hydro, coal, gas, and oil) energy. The reason, of course, is that the combined investments, distribution, obsolesce, and intermittency of so-called ‘renewable energy’ far exceed similar costs with the alternatives. The sun’s energy is free, capturing it isn’t.
Using Tesla data; if you drive your Tesla 100 miles per day commuting and recharge every night Monday thru Friday which is 5 recharges, it will cost over $150.00 per month to keep your buggy running. My gas powered Camry is twice more efficient.

BUYING a new EV creates NEW costs....payments-—down payment-—registration-—insurance costs which WILL be much higher than anything I pay now.
I would also have to install a charging system at my own property.....MORE $$$$$$$.
NONE of the above could be accomplished for $500 a year.
I DO KNOW HOW to do ACCOUNTING——BIDEN DOES NOT.
