Denver’s Department of Public Safety, which includes the police department, said in a statement that the city was not prepared for the level of sustained violence and destruction. During the trial, lawyers and witnesses said over 80 officers were injured as some in the crowds hurled rocks, water bottles and canned food at them.

Was the jury related to the claimants?
Was the jury or their families threatened by the rioters?

This is Denver deep state funneling money to terrorist groups via “lawsuits”.
A normal person suing of their own accord would get zero lawyers taking his case, saying you cannot sue the immune city etc.

I agree they should not have used bean bag guns and tear gas. They should have used m60s and flame throwers.

Not only did the democrats help plan the riots, not only did they participate in the implementation of the riots, not only did they give moral and material support to the riots, not only did they refuse to prosecute arsonists, robbers, and assailants, but they made sure they gave millions of our money to the criminals.
And some people wonder why crime is rising faster than inflation in this once-great country.
