Just to add, Trump also wanted more drugs tested, including Cheap and accessible Drugs and treatments.
Whatever Trump did, they exploded.
In fact, a bunch of Medical / Science personnel said they misled on the Origins of Covid because they didn’t want to support Trump’s position.

This is one good example of why Trump should be Speaker of the House, just for two years. He could clean out a lot of Rinos and make sure his agenda is firmly started for his presidency in 2025.
Toward the end of his second year he could have in place a leadership team of solid supporters and a really unified party then announce his run for President.
Kevin McCarthy has proven that he is not a leader and would fail to make a truly strong republican party.
