If they had come through Chicago a while ago they could have gotten some nice toilets from Gov Porkchop’s neighbor’s front yard.

I guess Russia uses the 1.6 gpf bowls like us while Ukraine stuck w/the 2.1, or whatever it was.

Invading forces taking stuff...
No surprise.
“Such as it ever was.”
Family stories passed down
about Sherman’s march through Georgia
are much, much worse than that.

Years ago, I had a two month work assignment in Sakata, Japan which was a common port of call for Russian sailors because it was on their northwest coast. This was in the days of full-blown Communism when there was very little to buy in Russia.
You'd often seem them on the streets carting the strangest consumer goods including rolled up carpets and furniture back to their ships. I had no idea whether it was to resell on the black market or to use.
Some of the Japanese merchants that were friendly with me told them they collected their pay in yen from a fine sea catch they had delivered to the port and needed to spend it before they boarded the ship to return home.

And potato? Really, ONE potato. "No, Yuri. To get the Ukrainian women, you must put the potato in the FRONT side of your pants!"

Reminiscent of the stories of the 1945 Russian occupation of Berlin before the division.
