Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody (R) announced on Tuesday a lawsuit over the Biden administration’s extended mask mandate on planes and transportation hubs, noting that the rule is not grounded in science.

“The state of Florida joined by 20 other states has filed an action against the Biden administration and multiple parties within to challenge the mandatory mask mandate within transportation hubs and on airplanes,” Moody announced alongside the governor.

The cloth masks impede breathing. That’s about it.

Most, if not all will still require them with or without a mandate.

Yesss! He’s great.

I saw that Disney today announced that “as a company,” it was going to try to get legislators to repeal or the courts to overturn DeSantis’ wonderful law protecting toddlers and primary grades from gender ideology indoctrination...I love the idea that “as a company,” they are opposed to the will of the people as expressed by the Governor of the state (where they probably get tax breaks up one side and down the other).

The Masky-Waskies (Teachers’ Union, of course) are going to flip out about this one.

Hospitals are medical as are Doctors and are mandated by Center for disease control. As such, there is different legal authority.

I think

Make the Federal enforcers wear masks for the rest of their lives. Nail the mask in place.

He IS great.
DeSantis is one of the heroes of our age. If we survive this, statues should be erected and songs written.

Healthcare mandated vaccines come from CMS. Not really from them though. They just will withhold payment to facilities if they’re not, which none can afford to do. Neither organization has authority. Pretty cool trick, huh?

Kavanaugh was the deciding vote. Yay republicans

Good. Now, perhaps you can make a lawsuit to remove all mandates for employment, as “discrimination”.

I pray he continues as he is and doesn’t turncoat. As in RINO coward.

I also pray his wife will be well. For their sake (esp the children), and mine. I want deSantis as President.

And my oldest friend in FL doesn’t hurt my view on him.

Great!

I think DeSantis is wrong and there is plenty of science supporting masks. And if this doesn’t get thrown out on some technicality, that science will get brought up in the court battle.

Masks aren’t perfect protection. But the virus particles travel on moisture droplets, and the masks do block many of the moisture droplets. That reduces the innoculation received which is correlated with a less severe illness.

But sadly, when the court rules against DeSantis, it won’t change anybody’s mind.

Disclaimer: DannyTN doesn’t have to go out very often. Once a week to the grocery store. He almost always wears a mask when he does. He has not gotten Covid. See masks work!

His polar bear deterrence system also works. There have been no polar bear sightings in his area in TN.

And his skunk deterrence system of loud coyote sounds and ultrasonic sounds also works. The skunk underneath the house left of his own accord. Ultrasonic seems to work better than coyote sounds.

Even now with covid cases much lower, he continues to wear a mask depending on how many cars in the parking lot.

Want to PO a provider?

Bring the box with you and ask about it. 😄

Masks aren’t any protection.

Using a facemask to prevent the person-to-person transmission of an airborne respiratory virus is like using chicken wire to keep out mosquitos.

Um, you may have missed some reports. Such as, the WuFlu can be transmitted as an aerosol, which views cloth masks as a minor inconvenience. Droplets are only part of the transmission system.

Here's a review of the studies. Not that it will change your mind. But it's more than enough for a judge to rule that science backs the use of masks.

An evidence review of face masks against COVID-19
