Richard Engel, NBC News' chief foreign correspondent, told Chuck Todd on Sunday's "Meet The Press" that he doesn't believe Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was "overly impressed" with President Biden's comments in Poland about Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Engel told Todd that the "Russian military strategy is all over the place." He said the strike on Lviv, a Ukrainian city 50 miles from the Polish border, was also likely meant to be a message to Biden.
"A bit of an insult to say ‘we’re going to strike right near the Polish border while you're in Poland," Engel said.

That’s a little harsh. How many talking potatoes has Zelensky heard in his life?
I hear two possible meanings in this:
1) Russian military is a chaotic mess, they have no focus, they are flailing.
2) Russia is dominating the battlefield and is able to attack on all fronts at will.
Richard Engel is a war whore who never met a war he didn’t want us to be in & wants us to die in a nuclear war with Russia.
It’s fun watching Zelenskyy grow too big for his britches. He’s obviously reading too many fawning press clippings. It’s not safe for a political puppet to forget their role.
Engel buys a clue.

We have to be more specific right off the bat: are we to be impressed with Biden’s comments, or the “walked back” version his lackeys put out after?

Can’t blame Zelensky here - he likely realizes the obvious, which was Biden was using him to get rid of Putin, and now there’s no way Putin will settle for anything short of Zelensky’s removal. I wouldn’t be surprised if he shows up at the Berlin Comedy Club soon.

I wish there was a leader somewhere in this mess that was admirable. Zelensky has shown some leadership- he didn’t run off to Poland- but his ego is a liability and there’s something else, I can’t quite articulate but I don’t trust him.
UK, Macron, US state department and now Zilensky have countered Biden recent statements . Looks like deep state will be making a pitching change.
I do not think any of the world leaders are impressed by Biden and this is the reason for the mess that the world is in.
I don’t see why he would be.
