Big tech is doing its best to stop you from seeing news and comments from conservatives and conservative websites and anyone else who tells the truth. Here are some tips on what you can do to fight back.
I know everyone makes these grand pronouncements about how they’re leaving Facebook, Twitter, etc., for Gettr, Parler, Gab, Truth, or whatever.
They are all excellent platforms, but they don’t reach anywhere near enough people.
The top social media sites are Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, Instagram, Tik-Tok, etc., and that’s not going to change anytime soon.
We will have to fight an information war on social media sites that hate us for the foreseeable future.
Over one-third of the adults in our country regularly get their news from Facebook.

I don’t mind a difference of opinion if it is informed; people fed their opinions only by their Facebook and phones are the laziest, dumbest people alive.

But, there is always a “but”, the mindcontrol TWOT’s are getting worse.
SydneyWatson was just banned from Patreon. Keep in mind that Patreon doesn’t create content, they serve as a conduit, a meeting place, between content creators and those that fund them — their donors.
Well, Patreon has taken the position that you cannot do business thru them if they find any of YOUR content or comments anywhere else on the WWW that is in contrast to their guidelines.
So, even if you are squeaky clean on everything done with your donors via Patreon; if you say something they don’t approve of on Myspace (does that still exist?), they ban you.
Here is an alternative tactic. Go to FBook, etal, and ID some troll or obnoxious TWOT. Then, complain to the platform about how you are offended. Drown the reviewers in complaints. Mebbe even get the trolls/Aholes to call a stop to this.
In this house:
NO CELL PHONE-—NO PAGER.
No “smart house”.
No utility company control of my thermostat
NO ALEXA or similar.
ABSOLUTELY NO SOCIAL MEDIA.
I KNOW how to find anyone I wish to ‘connect with’.
NO LED bulbs
NO vehicle newer than 1979 model-—no GPS or computer innards. ALL vehicles paid for.....
NO Pay TV.
NO PLAY STATION or electronic games. Scrabble & Trivial Pursuit work just fine, along with Cribbage.
NO KINDLE-—I can turn the pages, thank you.
NO ‘DELIVERY’ of food—either groceries or prepared food.
NO purchases from AMAZON. Summitt Racing Parts have all I may need. AND-—THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT—HAVE NEVER LET ME DOWN.

I’m on Gab every day and I’m a donor. I’m also on Gettr and Parler. Still have technical problems with Truth.
But no matter how much I wish they could just replace Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google, Linkedin, etc., they can’t.

Those people aren’t all Democrats. A lot of them are ours.
Shortwave radio remains the only method for dissemination of information on a national/global basis that is not dependent on man-made infrastructure. Whether you call it “big tech” or just the cable and phone companies that control the bandwidth and can censor whatever they want to, everything mentioned in this thread depends on man-made infrastructure. Don’t count on Elon Musk’s satellites either, uplinks can be jammed and many other countermeasures can be put in place. But the ionosphere is beyond human control, and the transmitters don’t even have to be in the US under federal government control to reach the US population.

I know it; plenty of Republicans (rank-and-file and the leadership) are the problem as well. Their leaders were the ones who obstructed Trump for two years until the Dems could take the House, allowing them to then play the aggrieved conservative opposition while the other half of the Uniparty took center stage.

I can understand no smart lighting but LEDs save a ton of electricity and the make dumb ones. Maybe you’re conflating one with the other.

There are more people on the various facebooks dedicated to trying to figure out why there are soo many problems getting account access to Truth Social then there are actually on Truth Social. That is not including of course the million+ hanging out on the waitlist.
Sorry, but this author is delusional. Telling conservatives to “keep up the fight” on Facebook or Twitter is like telling them they can expand their influence by writing letters to newspaper editors. Baloney. Censored content is meaningless in ALL media formats.
