Ukraine is very rich in natural resources—impressively “loaded” in Titanium. Of which, Russian submarine skin and structure is made.
They are, they are using a distributed Intel scheme not the old central distributed model.
It is battlespace intel
What haven’t the Russians wrecked? The wrecked Eastern Europe. They flew against us in Viet Nam. They supplied Iraq in the middle east.
They have been screwing up the world since the turn of the last century.
They could be decent citizens and a world power. But instead of doing it the civilized way, their paranoia and stubbornness has left them with a nation with massive natural resources, hard working people, and absolutely nothing to show for it. They see the boogey man behind every corner.
And the Russian immigrants in my area are horrible customers, they are the heart of most organized thuggery, and they add little to their community.
So yeah, I am sure as individuals they are fine. But as a country...they suck. They’ve sucked for a century.

It still does not make sense that a NATO AWACS would be communicating with distributed forces no matter what you call it now. They’d have to hit some level of command like the article I cited references. To operate as you imply suggests a far greater involvement in preparation and coordination that would pre-date Russia’s invasion. The Ukraine was a NATO Aspirant, but they were not a full partner in NATO and wouldn’t have been involved with the battle intricacies at that level.
Azov Battalion (2% of the population--NO SEATS in Parliament) are going to go to their deaths to restore Crimea to Ukraine.
I think of Azov Battalion as Ukraine's Hells Angels.
None of your Pro Putin propaganda changes the FACT that Russia is invading Ukraine and not vice versa. That is all that matters.

At this point finding reliable information out of the Ukraine is very difficult. The western media parrots what the deep state feeds it and the Russians of course are liars as well. None of this war makes much sense, but I get the sense that the deep state, media and military industrial complex want another war more than anything. This time however it is not Iraq, Libya or Afghanistan but a nuclear power and we have complete imbeciles in charge in the military and civilian positions of command and control-this will not end well.

Vlad is mopping up the Eastern Seperatists and southern provinces, undeniably. When they are secured ( very soon) , he rolls on Kiev, possibly with his Belorussian buddies. While Zelensky is begging for no fly zones, aircraft ( denied) , arms, men and money, his country is being turned into rubble. NATO just announced” Nyet” to NATO involvement. No Cav to the rescue.Doesn’t sound much like winning.Sounds like Zelensky was played.
Support neither side, Zelensky and Vlad are evil and corrupted….
While Vlad buries the dead and moves on, the Ukies will be stuck doing the same and begging for money to rebuild, decades, the US taxpayers will no doubt fund it, but 10 percent will go to the big guy, Senile Joe.
