Unlike the "annexing" you'd associate with Nazis, it was Russia who "annexed" Crimea.

Azov Battalion (2% of the population--NO SEATS in Parliament) are going to go to their deaths to restore Crimea to Ukraine.

I think of Azov Battalion as Ukraine's Hells Angels.
