A large, deadly tornado battered parts of the New Orleans area on Tuesday night, with damage reported in Arabi and the Lower Ninth Ward....
According to PowerOutage.us, there were more than 10,000 customers without power in Orleans and St. Bernard Parish.
The weather service said there were two tornado reports in St. Tammany Parish.

Only 1 fatality? Seems hard to imagine, given the area hit, and the pics coming in. The tornado that tracked through Western KY in Dec. killed 77. Granted, the KY storm was a long track monster up to a mile wide and winds briefly to 180+ mph when it hit Mayfield. But, thank God more people were not killed in this (LA) storm.

Here in Colorado it’s been unusually cold and snowed every day except two since St Patrick’s day.
Just the other day they had a piece on Donald Trump dissing “the squad” and how it has ruined so many lives.
