There have certainly been times during this war that the temperature somewhere in Ukraine has been below freezing. And I'd bet my left nut that some Russian troops have gotten frostbite, because that is inevitable whenever you have a large number of troops in cold weather.

The important question is "how many", however, and I suspect the number is quite low.
