EVs require 13 minerals from 13 supply chains running through 60 countries. Half of them go through Russia.
And thieves start stealing and vandalizing the charging stations.
Uh Huh and where is the electricity coming from to produce all this power, have we finally discovered Dilithium Crystals somewhere?
Yep, and we know darn well it’s coming. It’s probably part of the plan.
My car has hands free driving capability. I would never trust it. Only tried it once on a highway, and it scared me as it drifted between the lane markers. Nope, keeping my hands on the steering wheel and paying attention to everything while driving.
Who is paying the fees to charge those cars???
ALL the local tax payers????
NEVER saw any town build a gasoline service station.
REAL LIFE IS NOT “HANDS FREE”.
I am 82. The combined mileage on my car & 1 ton truck
== 569,000 miles.
I DO NOT NEED HANDS FREE VEHICLES.
You may have not read about it, but government did make public investments to encourage use of horseless carriages. Federal, state and local governments built sections of paved roads across the country to encourage use of automobiles. This encouraged private building of paved roads to interconnect the subsidized pieces. This led to the quick decline in use of horses for travel.
My local Wal Mart has built a high wood fence around the diesel generators that power the ‘charging stations’.
I can always carry an extra can of gas with me on any length of trip.
Recycled wood?
DO NOT THINK SO.

:-)
Wawa has a sub they only sell around thanksgiving called the Gobbler. Turkey, stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce on a great sub roll.
Wow! Absolutely the best sandwich I’ve ever had.
Foolish. But, 30 years from now those might come in handy.
The Romans paved roads. Paved roads improve communications, no matter the mode of transportation.
> I can always carry an extra can of gas with me on any length of trip.
Yeah, but the point was it takes less than five minutes to gas up at a filling station, while it takes HOURS to recharge an EV.
