Ukraine rejects Russia’s demand to surrender the besieged city of Mariupol.
Ukraine’s deputy prime minister, Iryna Vereshchuk, tells Russia that Ukraine will not surrender the city.
“There can be no talk about surrender and laying down weapons,” she says.
“We have already informed the Russian side about this,” she says.

Might want to catch up to the times we’re in.....you’ve been out of the loop at your age to mention a Degree in History.
“If they give up their city, is it really their city anymore?”
To some people, surrender is just not in their DNA.
“I rest my case.”
What case? The Sea of Azov? What are you even trying to say?
“Damn, he’s really bloated. I still think he’s sick which is the main motivation for doing this now. Biden’s weakness made it all the more possible.”
Yeah, that’s some serious edema. He’s got to be on some medicine to get bloated like that.
“Might want to catch up to the times we’re in.....you’ve been out of the loop at your age to mention a Degree in History.”
Say, what? You said I need to learn some history. I said I have and I do. And, because of my age I can’t mention my degree? You are nonsensical.
Exactly - to the people in the Alamo, it represented an appeal to their rights under the Mexican Constitution of 1824, in a confrontation with the Mexican government and Mexican army.
In other words, comparing Mariupol in Ukraine to the Alamo works great, if you think Ukraine is part of Russia, and the people of Mariupol are Russians with rights protected by the Russian constitution. If you think Ukraine is an independent country (as I do ;>), it's a really crappy comparison...
;>)
is that you, Bobby Knight?
Many more than that, and these are just the Eastern special battalions.
Yet no Jewish Brigade is fighting them. Why is that? Obviously, because you are spinning a gaslighting fairy tale. BTW, I see the invaders are now proudly flying and wearing the Soviet flag. I’m sure you approve of that.
“The guy is obsessed with recreating the USSR.”
Link please.
I second that, please provide a link.
You only need to go back to Aleppo in Syria, when the Russians did the same strategy and completely surrounded Aleppo. They opened a humanitarian corridor to allow both citizens and surrendering soldiers to leave. After closing the corridor they dealt with those left to fight.
That is what they are doing in Mariupol, only this time any surrendering soldier leaving will be checked for the Azov Neo-Nazi tattoos, and will be eliminated. That is why there will be no surrender. The Azov off battalion controls the city... At least for the next 24 hours.
The original comment was about the Azov Battalion. Hence, I said 400 guys. Now, you trot out more than a half dozen other battalions and units, unrelated apparently to the Azov Battalion. That, my friend, is a straw man fallacy.
Russia doesn’t need any extra help to kill Nazis, its own forces are quite adept at it....and I could care less what flag they’re flying while they do it.
Maybe this is something a turd curl like you just doesn’t understand.
"And cousin, business is a-boomin'!"
—> Mariupol is Azov base and homestead....that’s why Putins blasting it
Bingo!
Always comical to see Germans fulminating about Red Army rapes in Berlin. Germans still literally have no clue how that kind of outrage occurred. Germans sexually assaulted, humiliated and murdered millions of women on the eastern front, then they seem completely gobsmacked that the same thing is returned to their doorstep.
Apparently, Deputy Commander of the Black Sea Fleet Andrei Paliy needed some “help.” He’s gone home from Mariupol to Mother Russia in a bag. I suppose that was all part of the plan, though.

I misread your comment. It wasn’t nonsense. Putin does fear NATO but in the sense that Ukraine as a NATO member puts an end to his ambition to take parts of Ukraine. I think Putin dreams of a Greater Russia (and isn’t trying to reconstitute the Soviet Union), but the reality is that Russia isn’t going to be that much greater than it is now. Some parts of Ukraine will be likely be added, maybe Belarus later on, possibly Moldova eventually if Putin thinks the latter two are worth the bother.
Can’t wait to have you on our side when there are foreign
nationals on our soil.
