The Ukrainian government could have saved a lot of lives if it had siumply declared Mariupol an open city.

Yes, let the women and children and elderly and non-combatants leave unmolested. But Putin would never agree to that.

The Ukrainian government could have saved a lot of lives if it had simply said they would never join NATO.

Putin would have saved a lot of lives if he simply hadn’t invaded Ukraine.

The Russians appear to control all east of the Kal’mius River, including the steel works.

The only part they don’t have is some core area in the west part.

Just stating a fact sir/ madam. I would choose to save lives. When it is over it is over.

I wasn’t around for the Alamo. I always root for America. Ukraine isn’t America.
