"In the environment of the Russian business and political elite, a group of influential persons opposing [Vladimir Putin] is formed," the post reads. "Their goal is to remove Putin from power as soon as possible and restore economic ties with the West, destroyed due to the war in Ukraine."
The alleged group is not only planning to potentially assassinate Putin, the post claims, it has also decided on a potential successor: Alexander Bortnikov, who currently serves as Russia's Federal Security Service director, and headed up the analysis of the Ukrainian population and military capabilities ahead of the recent invasion.
The Chief Directorate claims that Putin and Bortkinov have recently had a falling out, with the Russian president blaming his subordinate for the country's difficulties in taking over Ukraine. Bortkinov is now reportedly working with the group of Russian elites in devising potential ways to remove Putin.
"It is Bortnikov who has recently fallen out of favor with the Russian dictator," the post alleges. "The official reason for the FSS leader's downfall is fatal miscalculations in the war against Ukraine. It was Bortnikov and his department who were responsible for analyzing the views of the Ukrainian population and the capacity of the Ukrainian army."

The Grand Duke would have to ennoble the Oligarchs, give them hereditary titles. They do stand in for the old Russian nobility. They control land, in the form of title to various bits and pieces of extractive industries and such.
And then the new Tsar would have to keep his crown by playing the nobles off against each other.
Maybe they are losing money, but maybe with Ukraine it is more of a case of the Globalists in Europe and the U.S. being like the kid standing outside the candy store. So much, so sweet, and he can't get his hands on it.

True, but wanting to take Putin out and actually killing/deposing him are 2 different things. Some reports have Putin firing a lot of people at the Kremlin, including some of his security. He appears very careful, if not paranoid. Those pictures you see with the long tables might not be his fear of COVID, but his fear of polonium or other poisons/agents. Or that illness from COVID might expose him to risk of being assassinated during treatment.

It is a win, win, unless Putin has 100% control of his nuclear arsenal. If he gets isolated and unstable he may take as many folks with him as he can. He will leave an indelible mark on history on the way out. If he doesn’t have control of his nukes then we can mess with him anyway we want, otherwise we need to stick to the truth 24/7 if we can find it.
