Anybody remember the old 55 mph speed limit?
The more than one way to get a Great Reset and a moldy, green new deal.

Anybody remember the old 55 mph speed limit?I remember the way that Wyoming and Montana handled it. As long as you were under 90 mph and no accident was involved, it was a $5 mail-in fine. Of course, $5 bought a little more back then.

Car-free Sundays in cities Oh sure. On the day people go to church and otherwise nobody is commuting to work anyways.

When you cut supply, price adjusts until demand and supply are in balance. Econ 1.0

The essence of good transportation is speed. This is why we prize race horses, fast cars, jet travel, etc.
Screw these central planners.

They forgot proper tire inflation. Cops should stop you and check your tire inflation , and if it’s not correct, fine you. Less freedom, more revenue, Democrats will love that law.

Also oil is fungible. India will buy from Russia freeing up other supplies and we can buy that.

Or we could just, y’know, drill more of our own oil and gas.

How about raising global supply by 2.7 million a day? The US and Canada could cover the lion’s share, if the fools in charge of both countries would just go home, stay there, and let the rest of us run the country the way it needs to be.

How about everyone who voted for Biden gets no more gas
That way, we could reduce consumption 30-40% AND punish those responsible for this energy mess at the same time!

Perhaps we can shower/bathe once a week to save water. We could also urinate/defecate in the backyard to cut back on toilet flushes. We could eat once a day to address food shortages. We could......
