When I went through ROTC training we were were obviously taught to respect the numerical superiority of the Soviet bloc Armour units deployed across the Iron Curtain. But I remember some of our NCO instructors mentioned that Russian enlisted personnel lacked strong NCO guidance....that they were heavily dependent on top-down leadership. After all these years...this holds true today.

Russia is actually taking it easy on their Slav brothers & sisters.
They haven’t even cut the power in Ukraine.
About 20 years ago I had a conversation with a Polish gentleman about Russia/Soviet occupation. He said they cut your power off right away(IIRC this would’ve been in late 1960’s Poland)
He also said Russian troops hung out in their barracks most of the time, where it was safe. If Russian soldiers took a wrong turn in the wrong alley they would get their asses kicked by locals.

The Russian army has poor logistics, poor equipment maintenance and almost no decent NCO cadre. They have trouble resupplying, keeping their equipment going and if you kill their officers, their NCO’s have paltry leadership and tactical skills. Formidable on paper, not so much in real life.
I am not worried about WW3 at this point. Even Putin must realize now after Iraq, Syria and Ukraine that in any conventional fight against the west (and especially against the American military), he would be wiped out.

My point was the average American wouldn’t have known Albania from Ukraine if if bit them in the Brandon and probably still don’t. All they know is the propaganda spewed by the globalist corporate gaslight presstitutes.
All of my predictions have not held true. Example I proposed Putin would concentrate on the Eastern pro-Russian provinces only.
However from day one I have said and thought 200,000 troops not enough to subdue all of the Ukraine (based on my frequent reading of WW2 actions). What I don’t understand is how Putin and his top staff underestimated so badly.

Well if ,I got it wrong apologies. And I agree with about covid. We did turn into a police state overnight. But that could be said of just about all Western countries , any many states in the U.S. It highlights how far down the road we are to the control the globalists fantasise about. I attended an anti covid stuff rally in Canberra not long back. There are Aussies who are part of the resistance. Too many sheep though,. unfortunately.
