Ukraine's Zelensky calls on Germany to tear down Russian wall

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has told German MPs that a new type of Berlin Wall is being built, dividing Europe between freedom and oppression.
He thanked Germany for its support during Russia's invasion.
But it was uncomfortable listening for many MPs as he criticised German energy policy and business interests for contributing to that wall of division.
Over the past week, Mr Zelensky has given a master class in how to pitch his message to allies.

Progressives the world over are always made uncomfortable with being confronted with the failed reality of their proposals... like Russian energy.

The rhetoric is lofty, but reality is less so. Energy is a necessity, and there is a limit as to how much can be produced from renewable sources, which is what Germany aspires to do.
More and more people here and in Europe seem to be removed from reality. They think energy should be cheap, renewable, and that we should get it only from countries that share our values. But in practice, we only get to choose one of those requirements. Except in the US where would could get it cheap, and domestically if the current administration wasn't obsessed with fake science.

More like a master baiter to get us into World War 3. If Zelensky bothered to dress better and maybe send flowers and chocolates he'd do better than just being a cunning linguist. Seriously though, Pretend-esident's sending Ukraine support (our money) while simultaneously supplying Russia's war machine via oil purchases (more of our money) is utterly asinine and one more stick on his impeachment woodpile.
