In 36 days of fighting on Iwo Jima during World War II, nearly 7,000 Marines were killed. Now, 20 days after President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia invaded Ukraine, his military has already lost more soldiers, according to American intelligence estimates.

The conservative side of the estimate, at more than 7,000 Russian troop deaths, is greater than the number of American troops killed over 20 years in Iraq and Afghanistan combined.

It cant be debunked short of the end of the war and the opening of Russian records. One can claim a number either way, and have an opinion, but one cant reasonably “debunk”.

I remember reading an old maxim that, if armies see more than 20% casualties, then desertions are next.

21,000 - 28,000 Killed or wounded.

Staggering loses for the invaders.

I know and we know, or should know we are being bombarded with bull sheet.

Since Russia is losing, our money needs to be helping people here at home, not lining the pockets of corrupt Uke and US politicians.

“Pentagon officials say that a high, and rising, number of war dead can destroy the will to continue fighting. The result, they say, has shown up in intelligence reports that senior officials in the Biden administration read every day: One recent report focused on low morale among Russian troops and described soldiers just parking their vehicles and walking off into the woods.”

Russia might be winning, whatever that means, but also suffering heavy casualties. There are many variables at play.

Putin must be paid back for all the IED deaths of American soldiers in Iraq. That last huge tranche of weapons from us are going to hit the Russians extremely hard. The US military did not forget.

“The high rate of casualties goes far to explain why Russia’s much-vaunted force has remained largely stalled outside of Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital.’

The first "Russia has been defeated" story of the day! Not to worry if you missed this total destruction of Russia, it'll be totally annilated again within 2 hours.

At least that's what the guy in the Iron Cross t-shirt tells me.
