House Republicans are calling for President Joe Biden to provide military aircraft to Ukraine, so they can establish a no-fly zone on their own. In a press conference after hearing from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky Wednesday, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said their is bipartisan support for sending fighter jets to Ukraine.
McCarthy and Republicans also praised Zelensky and the Ukrainian people while highlighting their resistance to Russian aggression. GOP lawmakers called for Biden to impose more sanctions on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s regime.
House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) also spoke, calling on Biden to step up and take away Putins leverage on energy while suggesting he should open the nation’s oil reserves.

Where would these jets even land, Russia has already destroyed their military infrastructure. How would they refuel? Don’t these military fighters require an extensive ground crew to maintain? Obviously a few fighters won’t make a dime’s worth of difference in this war for Ukraine, so is this just a slow walk to eventually get NATO involved? Sure looks that way to me.

Both insane and ridiculous. Insane in that this is direct involvement. Ridiculous because no matter what jets are given to the Ukes, they can’t just hop in and be effective in them. Even the Polish Mig 29s have all kinds of electronics in them that is not original to the planes....and which the Ukes don’t have. It takes pilots a good bit of time to learn a new aircraft, new systems etc etc. The planes without the Western pilots in them would not be that militarily useful to the Ukes.

Anyone else wonder about Ukraine?
I still haven't decided which criminal enterprise to be for/against, Russia's or Ukraine's.
I would say that I am 'Switzerland' neutral, but I think I read that they have already taken a side.

These morons won't be happy until people start freezing in their homes and get stranded in their cars and energy is up 300%

"House Republicans are calling for President Joe Biden to provide military aircraft to Ukraine, so they can establish a no-fly zone on their own."
And that is different from having US pilots and aircraft do such....how? Being that Ukraine is in the middle if a war with Russia, doing such could be considered aid. If the planes were supplied during peacetime, that would be different.
If they're so gung ho, they should be honest and vote on a declaration of war.
Craven is the word that comes to mind.

House Republicans, doing their best to suppress the midterm vote. Good luck!
