Putin's forces may only be able to keep up the fight for another 14 days, defence sources say as increasingly-desperate invaders launch more devastating strikes on Kyiv this morning

Russian forces may only be able to sustain full fighting capacity for another 'ten to 14' days, senior UK defence sources indicated last night, after which Putin's men will struggle to hold the ground they have already captured from Ukrainian troops.

UK defence sources say that Kyiv has Moscow 'on the run' and the Russian army could be just two weeks from 'culmination point' - after which 'the strength of Ukraine's resistance should become greater than Russia's attacking force.' Advances across Ukraine have already stopped as Moscow's manpower runs short.

-snip-

as Russia's invasion falters, its methods become more brutal - with cities increasingly coming under indiscriminate rocket fire. Kyiv, the capital, suffered another round of bombing on Tuesday morning as apartment blocks were set on fire by early-hours strikes, though there was no immediate figure on casualties.

Ukraine's military said four Russian helicopters, a jet, and a cruise missile were shot down by its forces which remained in control of all major cities - including the badly-hit southern port of Mariupol.

Putin's stuttering invasion has forced even his close allies to admit, publicly, that things are not going to plan.

I think Russia is taking its time, because there are other, larger, things being accomplished that need more time

The longer it goes, the better deal Russia gets.

The pro Putin bots never want to go point by pint on anything.

When you list 10 strategic reasons this war is important to us, they start yelling “covid!” “Biolabs!” Etc

In fact, they won’t even defend their own ridiculous points, they act like they never said it and that start yelling “Justin Trudeau!”

I’ll stick with Donald Trump, who armed the Ukrainians against the Russians.

Uhh, Iraq invaded Kuwait. They were the bad guy in that one.

Afghanistan? We retaliated for them training 19 @$$#0/es who killed 3000 innocent civilians. We shoulda left after that first 6 weeks when we rousted the taleban. But keep a couple of emBASEeees. So yes, we were the bad guys for staying. We have no bizness nation-building.

“I won’t bandy words ...” usually means the person has no valid rebuttal. In this case, a rebuttal to criticisms of Putin’s criminal and thieving actions.

I’m predicting right before this war is over in Russia’s favor, the last gasp propaganda releases will be announcements of Ukraine Armed Forces are advancing on Moscow with Russia about to capitulate.

Interesting scene.

Third pic down, looks like they were going to bag the Russian then bury him but stopped for some reason, perhaps to take the pic.

Odd garbage laying around. Must have been a dumping site for houses looted by Russians.

But the real treat is the unused RPG rocket just laying there.

“The real victims are the Ukrainian people, what’s being done to them is tragic, and that definitely shows Putin to be more bad than good.”
Zelinsky must be the good guy here then? These people who say if he would agree in writing to Putin that Ukraine will not seek Nato or EU membership, which would satisfy Russia into withdrawing their forces from Ukraine are just shills for Putin, I guess? Such a simple act that could save thousands of Ukrainian lives surely should not even be contemplated, lest Putin actually withdraw and hostilities cease.
What’s that? Zelinsky is entertaining the idea, now? After all these civilian deaths? This whole thing has been an exercise in futility. If Zelinsky does this one act and Russia withdraws it’s forces, Is Putin really the only bad guy in all of this? And is America pure as the driven snow for walking Zelinsky into this and then deserting him? Russia said this would satisfy them and they would cease hostilities, what could it hurt to take them up on this and see if what they say is true? The blood of those people killed would cry from the ground and ask why this was not done on the first day of conflict.

“Comments like these make it easy to smoke out the leftists pretending to be conservatives.”

Holy crap, is this the issue that draws all the emotional twits? Any opinion you don’t agree with is greeted with baseless claims.

Odd, you call me a leftist, but you are using the same tactics the leftist media is using against Carlson and Gabbard.

Fight on keyboard commando! You know, they could use a “brave” soul like you in Ukraine!

How is a country being too pro-America a problem?

So you call a country that is used to laundry US taxpayer dollars back to politicians, willingly being used as a proxies country for American deep state to develop biological weapons and actively interfering in our elections is pro-American? Not in my book, I think Russia is doing real Americans a favor.

Don’t forget “Deep State!” Bwaak, Polly want a cracker - “Neo-Nazis!” Bwaak, Polly want a cracker - Propaganda and media lies! Bwaak, Polly want a cracker - George Soros!

Meanwhile, back in the real world, Putin still invaded Ukraine for no valid reason, and he is still a thug, thief, murderer of those who oppose him and a war criminal.

“The pro Putin bots never want to go point by pint on anything.”

Again, a baseless claim to make yourself feel like the bold, brave warrior. Much like the leftist media.

Fight on keyboard warrior. Tell you what, you want to show your mettle? I’ll buy you a ticket to Ukraine, you can fight Putin.

Not a war planner, but it would seem that taking down the entire power grid would be a good thing to do (from a tactical perspective). If Russia did not do this because they couldn’t do it is telling.

The U.S. government and its media allies have a deep distrust factor in the half of the population that voted for Trump. Spreading nonsensical stories about the Russian Army running short on supplies and about to fail in two weeks is confirmation bias for that distrust. The Russian military may be meeting with more resistance than they anticipated, and the Ukrainians may be replicating what the Finns did to the Soviets in 1939. However, it is difficult to believe the MSM narrative when they have lied on so many matters in the recent past.

Our President is corrupt, our Government, various agencies and elected officials are corrupt.

Should Russia invade the U.S. to “Help us?”

Over 44 Million Ukrainians that are Not corrupt are being displaced, injured and killed.

Oh, I forgot and the child trafficking conspiracy…….yes, Russians are helping the children too by destroying their homes and schools and injuring and killing them. Now the children are fleeing to other countries with what they can carry.

With friends like the Russians………well you know the saying.

The propaganda game is this:

—Russia advances on cities which means civilian deaths.

That is proof that Russia is evil and desperate.

—Russia does not advance on cities.

That means they have run out of supplies and are stuck in the mud. The mission is a failure.

Propaganda does not care if it is self-contradictory.

The stupid dupes that believe it are unable to figure out the contradiction.
